I blame Peanut for my recent interest in Pirates, though I should probably lay it more at the feet of the ones who used to live here in lovely Savannah. However, it's not history month, it's DISNEY month, so I thought we'd talk about the movies that have made Pirates... respectable? Is that possible? Here's the site for the newest movie, Pirates of the Carribean, On Stranger Tides. For those who have seen it, what did you think? Were they pushing it a bit? I haven't seen it yet, but then I have to wait 'til school's out and I have some freedom to go to a movie again! Avast, me hearties, and share ye thoughts wit us!

We're going to extend Disney month out at bit through June, because I'm not nearly finished talking about it! ;) So, this thread is going to be for all the June specific stuff that doesn't have anything to do with anything Disney.

This is usually one of our biggest exchanges and we have the most fun with it! I want to get this one as big as it used to be! It's pretty simple. You buy post cards from the area you live in and you mail them to the people who sign up. You don't have to send them to everyone, though we'd all love some happy mail from you! Send what you can and watch the smiles spread! We usually do some kind of theme with the postcards, but this year, I just want you to send whatever you want to put in the mail. I think we all need a good laugh, so I'm going shopping for the worst postcards I can find (you know, like the one with the big donkey that says "wish you were here" ?). …

Ok do the archers have come to get to know everyone in dm and i heard that the kin were the type that loved music so i have come to discuss various types of music. for example what would you perfer to listen to, classic rock or alternative? both have the same type of style (i think at least) but different kind of format so lets discuss music. So what kinds of music do the members of the kin listen to and how much hours or minuets of songs do they listen to per day/week? For me I listen to mostly alternative like, All Time Low, The Summer Set, The Ready Set (not sure if hes alt) but MikePosner. Mind you those are only some of the bands i like some of my not so fave…
