Well, it's an oldie but a goodie! LOL and I talked to Horn the other night..this is one of the games he used to always keep going..so thought I'd start it over, see if maybe he would come out of the woodwork and post on it for old times sake... We have a few things going on already and I'm pretty sure we'll be adding to this as the month goes along! Here's what's up so far: Valentine's Day Exchange: Which is pretty self-explanatory, I think. Valentine Card Exchange: Where we send each other those cute little V-day cards we used to get in school! National Library Month: I'm about to start a conversation to see how we want to celebrate this this year. We did a "hug a librarian" day a few years ago. Ok, so a few of us would like to shed some pounds! Post here and let's talk about how to set this up! NO CHEATING PEOPLE! *grins* I think the only thing we need to keep tabs on is progress and cheerleading (I'll get my pompoms for us! *shakes*). So, how would you like to do this? 1- I can set up a spreadsheet on googledocs and give ya'll access to it so you can edit in your progress charts. 2- You can PM me your info and I'll keep track of it without anyone else having access to it. 3- We can hunt down a site to handle it for us. Are you in? What's your opinion?

Well, we never celebrate things for just one day, especially when they're things that should be celebrated for MUCH longer than that. We're going to celebrate this one all month long! So, the way we celebrate this is to celebrate YOU, the people who do little things every day to make others around you smile. I am asking you to toot your own horn this month and tell us all about how wonderful you are to your fellow man. It doesn't have to be a big thing to make a difference in someone's life, but we want to celebrate the fact that you did them, just the same. So, what random act of kindness did you do today?

The two groups of Tinkers have been camped for a couple of days together in the Circle of Union. The young women have been coached concerning their dance to attract a man. The Central Fire has been added to...it now gives off a glorious light. Tonight's party will be the highlight of the Meeting. Lots of good food, music, dancing...BYOB. Of course, I'll post. I just wanted to pop in and let you all know that we have added a few new Council members to our staff! Please stop in and congratulate Mystica and Mmeeshal on their accepting Staff positions here! They'll be taking over some of the things you're used to seeing around here and I'm sure you'll notice their smiling faces more often in these hallowed halls. I've got another staffer in the wings that I am going to keep a secret for a bit. I'm sure it won't be a surprise, but ya'll need some intrigue while you play CSI and figure out who the last new Staffer is. *grins* Good luck! ;)

HAPPY NATIONAL LIBRARY MONTH! I'm making this celebration a free for all! If it has something to do with a library, throw it in here! My theme this first week is going to be GeektheLibrary.org. This is a fabulous organization that is focused on getting money back into the public library budgets! They're getting folks back into the library and they're promoting the use of the library for all sorts of lovely things. There are a lot of folks behind this one and Light knows the libraries need all the help they can get. So, what do you geek?

So Jackie turns 6 on Feb 29th or March 1st, whichever one you want to pick. She wants to have a party with all her school mates. I need ideas. She tells me that one little boy in her class said he will not come if it is a girl party, so now she wants a boy party, but she cannot tell me what a boy party is. **Sigh** I told her to do what she wants and not what that little boy wants. Silly boys. Everyone knows they have cooties anyway. ::) What is a good theme for a 6 year old? I told her she would have to wait till mid-March so that we could get a good day and have it outside.
