Watched it Monday night. The pilot was not as good as Lost... but most rarely are. It has the same feel as Lost but for some reason I just do not care... yet. I have read that the next few episodes are really good. I will continue to watch and give it a chance.

AIKA is a free-to-play massively multiplayer online role playing game. In its fantasy world, the demon-like Zerecas have corrupted and enslaved the monsters and creatures in the land in their plan to rid the world of all Humans. The goddess AIKA created the fairy-like Prans to ally with the Humans against the Zereca. Will the humans and their new allies defeat their evil attackers or be torn apart by internal war? Besides boasting the standard MMO features like questing, dungeon-running and crafting, AIKA is heavily focused on PvP features. AIKA is optimized for large scale Nation Wars where thousands of players can fight at one time. In Aika you can: fight for c…

So, we've had some bad news today (i.e. Arrested Development), but now some good news (potentially) is on the way. HALO, the movie we all thought was left to die, has been resurrected! Rejoice, masses, for your savior has come again!

This was on last night, and I watched it today on HULU and I really enjoyed it. Started out thinking that it was just going to be a Modern Family knock off, but it really impressed me with it's comedy/drama balance. This is gonna be a really good show I'd recommend it.

I'm not particularly musically inclined. Nor am I musically inclined towards a specific genre. As it happens I was watching Glee the other day (yes I do like set musical choreography) and when the relatively new artist did a cover of Telephone with that other main girl can I just say she blew me away So to sum up in a few words - Charice, wow, just wow!!

So what do you guys think? I'm really really excited. Alfred Molina, Terrence Howard and Skeet Ulrich star. At first i was skeptical because of how many law dramas there are nowadays but i think this one will stand out. Granted the formula is a little stale but with such great actors i think it can be pulled off. I have always thought that the Law & Order shows were the best of their particular genre. My this favorite has always been SVU. But i think this new one might turn out to be even better. So..... thoughts? queries? incoherent ramblings?

I had little hope for this show... but I ended up LOVING the pilot. This is by far the best new network pilot I have seen this fall. The characters were rich, the music was superb and the plot was interesting. I just hope people give up on the event and migrate over to this before it is too late.

For the few of us that saw last year's sensational "Moon" starring Sam Rockwell and directed by Duncan Jones, this bit of news will have you extremely excited. Jones is back with a new movie called "Source Code" and it will be starring Jake Gyllenhaal. Here's a basic overview of the plot, but there are basic spoilers: Here’s the deal: The Playlist has read the script for Ben Ripley’s “Source Code”, and they explain how the movie begins, and the film’s plot. It’s basically a combination of the Denzel Washington movie “Deja Vu” combined with “The Matrix” and the Bill Murray comedy “Groundhog Day”. And oh yeah, some form of time travel is involved, too. It…

There are a few games that get left out of the limelight, either because their very unconventional plot that does not quite appeal to an average adolescent or child, or likewise, the unconventional gameplay. Sometimes both. One of those games is Drakengard. I am not too sure what happened in Drakengard's case - maybe it was ill-advertised, because I have met only a few people who have actually played it or even heard of it. Because I am sure that if it had reached the more mature video gamers in an effective way, it would have gained far more of a fan base, because of its very dark and intriguing plot. It at least managed to spawn a sequel that tied up lose ends and gave …

GI Rating 9.00 Concept: A compelling, cinematic game about La Cosa Nostra filled with nods to classic mobster movies Graphics: Only the occasional environmental pop-up and recycled character models take away from an otherwise admirable recreation of ‘40s and ‘50s America Sound: Fantastic voice work (particularly for sidekick Joe Barbaro) complements an amazing soundtrack filled with classic songs from the period Playability: The gunplay and driving control well, but the cover system can give you problems in tight quarters Entertainment: A focused, if derivative, mobster tale that should appeal to any fan of Goodfellas Replay: Moderately Low

Here’s a conspiracy theory for you. I think NBC put legal drama “Outlaw” on now to make its upcoming midseason David E. Kelley legal dramedy look that much better. A blandly absurd enterprise about a Bush-appointed conservative Supreme Court justice named Cyrus Garza who quits his enormously powerful position after a car accident suddenly turns him liberal, “Outlaw” comes to us from writer-producer John Eisendrath, who created NBC’s similarly sloppy, dim and dull sci-fi espionage drama “My Own Worst Enemy.” It seems Garza thinks he can do more good by stripping himself of the legal might only a justice can wield, then returning to private practice. Which makes abs…

So, I wasn't a big fan of Season 5 until the last few episodes...especially the last scene of the last episode. Shane is the SHIT! I'm actually enjoying this season so far; I like the whole "new identities" thing and "new beginnings" idea behind this season. Also, I really wasn't expecting Hash to be the moneymaker for Nancy. Silas is one of my favorite plotlines, Shane's is decent, and Andy is always funny (as is Doug). I really, really can't wait to see what happens next.

Pilot scores: A . Felicity A+ Alias A+ Lost A . Fringe C+ Undercovers Those four prior J.J. Abrams-scripted pilots left me dying to learn what happens in episode two. Not so “Undercovers.” I’ll check out next week's second installment out of respect for the Bad Robot brand, but I’ve no confidence I’ll make it to episode three. I even liked the pilot for “What About Brian” (an Abrams-produced pilot he neither wrote or directed) better than the one for “Undercovers.” Scripted by Abrams and Josh Reims (“Felicity,” “What About Brian?”) and directed by Abrams, the first hour of "Undercovers" sounds a little like Abrams’ “Mission: Impossible III” and a lot l…

I watched about 2/3 of this last night and did not love it. I really wanted to as I love Arnett and Arrested Development. The third Fox sitcom from the “Arrested Development”-“Sit Down Shut Up” team of writer-producer Mitch Hurwitz and writer-actor Will Arnett, “Running Wilde” examines a wealthy and callow heir’s efforts to woo a childhood crush who has grown into a beautiful and selfless single-mom eco-activist. Arnett’s co-stars include fellow “Arrested” vet David Cross as a romantic rival and a hair-straightened Keri Russell (“Felicity”) as the object of both men’s affections. Arnett’s character, Steve Wilde, is very similar to Gob Bluth, the fellow he playe…
