As Monster's Inc. is my favourite Pixar movie of all time, I really hope they don't screw up the sequel. However, "screw up" and Pixar have never been used in the same sentence, as far as I'm concerned. So I'm not too worried.

I have extremely bad new people, Davis Cross has announced that the Arrested Development movie is DEAD!!! I'm so torn up about this it's really ridiculous. Please, feel free to cry unashamedly, I know I will.

It seems that everyone I talk to doesn't like this game, what are your opinions and why?

Did anyone ever play this game? It was a huge 1st gen mmorpg, until WoW and FFXI decided to steal it. Man, that game has a lot of memories to it.

I had to ask...for me anyways it's Bad Company. Reasons? It feels like I'm in a REAL war in each and every battle unlike MW2 where it just feels like a short cage match or MAG which is just....bad... :-\

X-Com and its two sequels were classic, beloved games that people play to this very day because of their heady mix of isometric turn-based combat and the global strategic mode in which you could research new technologies to fight the alien menace. It was all great stuff (if unapologetically ripped from the 1970s Gerry Anderson TV series UFO, but there you go), and way, way ahead of its time. X-Com is now returning. And of course, since the original game was beloved for being a careful, rational strategy title, the new version will be a first-person shooter (although it sounds like a strategic angle may be maintained, in some form, possibly cribbed from Rainbox Six or…

Not long until the Pacific Junior Curling Championships! I've just started to get into this sport. I've been reading the rules on the website with some interest, particularly those concerning doping. I actually think that it's great to see a sport played with brooms.

Here to talk about sports. I'll get into the threads later...until then just had to brag. So get this...... I get off work at 6 am on Monday. I rush home, get changed, pick up my BiL, and head down to Busch Stadium. Stand in line from 645-1030am to buy a voucher for what they call "First Pitch" tickets. (These vouchers will get you a pair of random unused tickets.....ie, Standing room, or a visiting player's unused comp tickets). Got home and napped from 1130-130pm. Went back to the stadium, and stood in line to get tickets with the voucher. I only wound up with SRO, but I was in the stadium on the Home Opener. Woohoo!! Wandered around til hla…

I downloaded some emulators and now the games I used to play are backwards. Can I use any computer controller to play or do I need a special one?

I am a fan of some strange films. Mostly 1970's and 1980's, low-budget, comedy and sci-fi movies. I am easily amused. I also like really, really old, black n white "monster movies" like THEM, THE BLOB and BIRDS!!!!! LOL! I can't help myself. Maybe it is just that I am a child of the 1970's and I appreciate a very late night movie instead of the freaking infomercials that they play on tv late at night now. When I wake up at 3am and can't sleep I am happy to find a stupid old movie on tv instead of an infomercial for the latest penis enlargement pills, the latest colon cleansing pills or the latest body-sculpting device! I am thinking about taking a class on Tokyo Cyberpunk and apparently these are some of the anime we would be watching (I assume just an episode from each): Akira Astro Boy Ghost in the Shell 1 & 2 Memories Metropolis Robot Carnival Steamboy

Anyone playing this game? I think the management side of things is getting better and better. I'm in season 4 with my Liverpool team and I can't put down the controller.
