I caught the pilot of this one last night and LOVED it. The interplay between the (ex)con-man and the FBI agent is awesome. It seemed a bit cliche at first, but I like how they humanize the characters. I'll definitely be looking to see where this goes.

i know this conflicts with foxes lie 2 me, but this is why they invented DVR. this show is awesome and sad at the same time. i have a close family memebr that is a Hoarder, so this show gives me hope that one day me and bubba will be abel to help her. its great to watch these people get help and see them take a fundamental transformation for the better :)

I have been around lurking but not posting, but since I have the day off and sitting in the hotel in Charleston, here I am. So I was looking at the new cover for the ebook Eye of the World. Somehow I think the inspiration isn't from the book, but from the Pirate Movie, especially the Pirate King. Look at the black pants, the flowing white shirt. Give Rand a hat and well the cod piece, how can he not be the Pirate King!

The one sentence summary: Unfortunately, NEW MOON continues the tradition of lameness that was firmly established with the first movie. If you are that one person who hasn't read the books, this might spoil things for you.

I started watching this show, then fell off it, and last night powered through the last fews eps. Its really picked up and is actually a really good show. The premise is interesting - it follows the wife of a politician who got caught with prostitutes and now there are corruption charges against him. *She* has to deal with all the crap and also take care of her family. She doesn't divorce him (although who knows she may in the future), and at first I was like "she's stupid, divorce that sucker", but while watching the show it may not make her position totally rational, but it at least explains it. Watched this show online, Airs somewhere in the UK... Its one part Primer, one part Flash Forward, and one part 24. Basically you have a Physicist, who stares at the sun all day on a computer, randomly gets a series of images, that involve some kind of accident set in the future. (about 24 hours into the future) Each episode, is that 'paradox' event.

This game is awesome. I am so late to catch the hype, as per normal, but god damn it is just awesome. Huge boxy military ranks crashing into each other, cavalry flankings that for once actually work in a game, and ... gugh... I have trouble conveying the vastness of some of the battles I've had. Anyone else ever played this?

What makes two teams rivals? Is it the length of time that teams have competed against each other? Is it that one team may have dominated another over a period of time? Combination of the two? Some act one player of one team commits against another? Combo of some or all those factors? Anything else that may contribute to a rivalry?

This show makes me happy, mainly because of all the geeky references. Last night's episode was particularly brilliant and had me laughing the whole way though.

Are any of you playing the Castle Age game? This is a game that is an application on Facebook, for those of you who haven't heard of it. I play this game, and have done so for a couple of months. It's really a role playing game, kind of, but it's quite simple. There are different kinds of monsters to hit, and you have different weapons, soldiers, generals and magic items. Would like to hear from others who are playing this game, but also learn a little about for instance Dungeons and Dragons.

So, has anyone watched Sons of Anarchy? I have to admit, there is some great acting in this show. Apparently its loosely based on Shakespeares "Hamlet". A strong cast featuring "Peg Bundy" and "Hellboy".

Basically this is a revitalization of our netflix post that seems to have disappeared from the boards (probably in the crossover). Basically if you netflix something, rent something or watch a movie on your TV, let us know how it was. This game is crap, don't buy it. I am throwing it under my bed until IW comes out with a massive patch that basically fixes all the s**t they put in this game. -No dedicated servers. This game is basically a port of the console versions. Though IW says otherwise, claiming that there are "custom features" in the PC version such as mouse pointer control, graphics sliders. Wow, didn't expect to be controlling my character with a mouse on my computer... This also means that there will be no kicking hackers by the players.
