Ryrin Sedai is undergoing surgery tomorrow. Some of you may know about the severe loss of movement she has been experiencing, and she'll be off work 5 months in a neck brace recovering. She has gotten good news that she will only need one surgery and not two and it will be less invasive. It's still a scary time, even for a brave Green. Neck and Spinal surgery is nothing to play around with. I just wanted to create a space to let her know I'm thinking about her and wishing her a speedy recovery and healing. So, as some of you may know Prince William and Catherine are expecting a baby in the next couple of weeks. We have had a sweep stake at work, guessing baby weight and name (anything to avoid doing actual work!) Now the law has been changed for this baby, so whether boy and girl it will be next in line to the throne after William, so we were guessing a future King / Queen's name. I saw online somewhere a suggestion of Daenerys, and thought LOL that would be great! So my question is this - if you could name a future King / Queen - name him / her anything - what would it be? King Rand anybody?

The Blue Ajah Announces . . . It's almost that time of year again! Make sure you have your ticket to the Hogwart's Express and that you are are at Platform 9-3/4 and on the train promptly at 11:00 on July 28! So for those of you who don't know already (which is probably very few of you at this point) I used to have pretty long hair; it reached down to the bottom of my ribcage when it hung down the front and to the small of my back when it hung down the back. I was very attached to my long hair, though I didn't "style" it very much past putting it ponytails or buns when it suited me. It was just something I'd identified myself by for so long. Once a year, the moon is a bit closer to earth so it looks quite a bit larger and it is very, very bright. We were standing outside waiting for it to come up and as soon as I started seeing light, I started snapping pictures with my phone. A few clouds roll in, but they were thin and wispy. Why is this so interesting (other than the fact that I love astronomy)? Because right before the disk peaked over the mountain, the light hit those clouds and it looked like this orange/red dragon hovering over the treetops. I thought, "The Dragon has been reborn!" Well, they're still down, and while I had temporarily set up shop on Arie's domain, I have now finally got my own domain and I am working on re-building the Caves. I was in the hospital giving birth to my two little babies.. a lot of the girls and boys here were so supportive! The Brown Ajah especially, Aaron and Mikayla are doing great, they are in the fourth grade now! Aaron is almost to my chin, soon he'll be taller then me and Mikayla.. she's as feisty as ever, she'd make a great Green! *hugs a bunch*

I'd like to invite everyone to try out a free, browser-based (nothing to download) game set in the Wheel of Time universe. This game has been around for awhile, and at one time Dragonmount had a huge presence there. The game sort of fell apart a few years ago, but it is under new ownership now, and the new owner has done a fantastic job of rebuilding the game, making it much better than it's ever been before. The time commitment required ranges from a few minutes every couple of days or so (if you don't have a lot of ambition to be listed among the top players but just want to have a little fun), to about as much time as you care to devote to it.
