For those of you who don't look at the front page of DM, here's the link to the press release for the Ajah shirts from Ta'veren Tees. I know some of you saw me modeling the White Ajah shirt in the pictures from my July trip and wanted to know when the shirts were out, so here they are!

Okay, so I thought I'd start a thread for funny stuff we come across in day-to-day life. I've seen a bunch of funny pics on GoG, and have found things myself that I thought were funny. Everyone is welcome to post, whether it be video, pic, or just a story you heard that was funny. If it's not PG-13 rated, try to tone it down and if that isn't possible, try to provide a link. Nudity is not allowed. Here's a guide to what exactly PG-13 means here in the Tower for those of you who don't as of yet. http://www.dragonmou...ost__p__1860366 Here's a couple links to a comedy show I saw on tv once, and wanted to share. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzlWlgC3Ew0 …

This is the final game of the tetrathlon, and as the title suggests, it is anagrams! I will post one anagram that is the name of a country that participated in the Olympics, and the first person to solve it by posting the correct answer here will obtain 1 game point! At the end of the game, the person with the most points shall be declared the first place winner and shall receive 4 points going towards their tetrathlon total, while second place shall receive 3 points, third 2, and everyone else shall get 1 point. Pretty straightforward :P. First anagram! R I E É

Welcome to the Wonders of Architecture in London!!! As part of the Brown Ajah's Travel and Olympics Month Event, we will be exploring some of the best architecture in London. I know that to some, this might seem a dry subject, but I'm going to do my best to spice it up a bit. Every day we are going to learn about a piece of architecture in London. There will be some interesting facts and some trivia about each place. Day 1: The Millennium bridge This is the famous Millennium Footbridge that extends over the River Thames in London. The southern end of the bridge is near Globe Theater, Bankside Gallery, and Tate mo…

Just though I should mention that the Paralympic opening ceremony is on right now! (despite the tourch relay being a couple of hours behind) Venues have been converted and for the next 11 days thousands of people will be competing in familiar sports such as running, swimming, shotput and some different sports like boccia and wheelchair rugby (aka murder ball!) So, is it being broadcast where you are? Will you be watching?

So, whilst on my long, undeserved exile from DM due to being computer-less, I had time to do a lot of sleeping. And thinking. And it made me wonder what some of our favorite fantasy/sci-fi characters eat. Like, for instance, I think we can all agree that kaf is like coffee- or maybe more like a Turkish coffee or straight espresso. And klah, from the Pern books is too. But what are cauldron cakes from Harry Potter? And THAT made me wonder what foods there ARE in different fandoms, and which ones people would want to try if they could. So. What foods from a fantasy series/book have always intrigued you? What would you want to try first if you were pl…

Hello my dears! Welcome to yet another event in the Brown Ajah Travel and Olympics Month. Our subject is... Yes, London! Let's take a look at what Wikipedia has to offer us of info: London is the capital city of England and the United Kingdom, the largest metropolitan area in the United Kingdom, and the largest urban zone in the European Union by most measures. Located on the River Thames, London has been a major settlement for two millennia, its history going back to its founding by the Romans, who named it Londinium. London has been described as a world cultural capital. It is the world's most-visited city and has the world's largest …

As a side note, im playing this: http://www.addictinggames.com/action-games/theworldshardestgame.jsp The annoying thing is its all about timing etc, and im playing in google chrome. Every so often, as I play, the tab refreshes itself, and the moving parts of the game freeze for a moment, then "jump" ahead to catch up with where they should be. When that happens, I'm dead :( Any idea what causes it?

Sports in the Wheel of Time Hello everyone! Let's imagine that there was a WoT Olympics. What events do you think would be featured? For the next week, this is where you can come to discuss that and more. Each day I will give a different field and you can list the applicable sports that you think the WoT world would have, you can even make up your own sports as well as put forward the character you think would take home the gold in each event! So let's get started! Day 1: Ranged Sports (What kind of ranged sports do you think would be played in the WoT world?) Day 2: Melee Day …

I've been testing this fancy new Ter'Angreal that we obtained by totally legitimate means. Here are pictorial reproductions of the staff: The MoN, Keeper, Amyrlin, Sword Captain and MaA: Blue, Brown, Gray & Green Ajah Heads: And Red, White & Yellow Ajah Heads: Apparently the little shadowspawn who're trapped inside the Ter'Angreal and paint these pictures really really fast, need a break every now and then. Go figure - I have to abide by RSPS (Randland Society for the Protection of Shadowspawn) rules. *sniffs* Anyhoo, as soon as the little bugg ... errr ... shadowspawn are rested, I'll get the Sisters and Warder staff together to…

Mythology, History, and Meaning **Olympia** I don’t know about you guys, but I’m a bit of a nerd when it comes to Greek mythology. The Olympics are great, but whenever I think about the Olympics, all I can think about (besides that amazing opening ceremony) is mythology. …Well, that’s not all that comes to mind, but it’s the first thing that comes to mind. Olypmics, Mount Olympus, the gods and all of that chaos they caused. It makes for a great story! But what myths are actually connected to the Olympic Games? What is the history of the Olympics? What does it mean for us, or has the meaning changed at all over t…

For some people going to the Olympics can be a very exciting trip. Others prefer to stay home and watch it on TV and stay out of the crowds. There are also those that don't care to watch the Olympics at all! I"m going to start this off with three questions and add more as I think of them. If you have questions of your own feel free to ask! 1. If you could, would you go to the Olympics? Why or why not? 2. How would you get there? By plane, boat, or are you close enough to go by car? 3. What sport or sports are you most interested in seeing? Discuss!
