ugh... you know the saying "When it rains, it pours" well that's happened to me since i got back off vacation.... i've been trying to get on here since Monday to let you guys know as well.... 1- my car is having problems. her air condition seems to be going bad and she needs new back breaks as wel as a ew other things (all totalling around $600, not counting the A/C) 2- my house is a disaster.... (easily fixed but i wanted to girl about that lol) 3- my dogs had fleas, because we left hem with Bubba's parents whiel we were gone. I won't be able to get on very often from today (the 15th) till the 23. I'm with my grandparents in Texas and I'll be with them for pretty much all week.

I dunno how many people here still remember me, but I was a Green aspie a looooong time ago. It's been at least couple of years since I last showed my face here, since I was enduring some long-term personal problems that only resolved themselves within the past year or so. Thankfully, those issues have passed, and I am glad to finally be back with all of you awesome people! It is my intention to get involved here again, and it's motivated me to get off my lazy butt and reread the whole WoT series as well (in addition to the many other books I'm trying to read). I had a crazy idea today that I want to pitch to Cracked.com as an article idea. I'm sort of stuck on the details. The idea is a list of female characters from movies or TV shows that are "badass" in the sense they have great fighting skills, etc. but are actually anti-feminist and actually take women's equality back a few decades. Number one, obviously, will be Elizabeth from the PotC franchise. I'm thinking Eowyn from the LotR movies could fit in there as well at a stretch (from the MOVIES, not the BOOKS). I finally did it! Today, I graduated with my doctorate in clinical psychology. I had to fly back home just for the ceremony. Now, I just have to fly back to PA tomorrow, do the last month and a half of my internship there, and then I get to take a year off before I worry about my postdoctoral hours and licensure exams. I'm so excited! I can finally be called Dr. Dwyn! :)
