Um. i will fill this space of things I have things like art and things... I would not say that I am a Professional Artist, I am 100% self-taught. I have a wide range of art styles I like and exhibit and every year I see at least a little improvement in an area then I was the year before. I do sell my artwork, and I keep a Patreon page for my Art and Writing. Because of this I do give them first dibs on what I am working on (because they support my art supply addiction).

ok we all have our main theme of arts, but to get to know eachother and see maybe what we have coriosities of...i wondered what all are the different tools you all own for arts making Personally i have acryllic paint, though pencil wise i think i mostly just have brushes coming with kids water painting sets or such ? a variety of pens of various sorts, including a caligraph one (not the real thing but a regular pen with shaped tip for doing caligraphy) - it comes from my scrapbooking stuff, what i love about that is you can merge art and crafting, two things i like. ok so just that what inspires you to make your art? for me its looking at pictures or just wanting to dable with and explore filters and effects, with pictures it can be anything like scenic ones that work well for backgrounds be it from the real world in pics, or fantasymade ones - but also pictures of people or objects can inspire me like just got to make something around said person or object it can be hollidays coming up or seasons changing

ok so sure you can go look and copy paste and all the pics in there...but i am lazy, so i took rock pics from pixabay and turned into a brush, because then i can just size the brush and get randomized rocs pressing around the maps ? i will make more for mountains and waters later... rocks.gih this is for gimp, so need to be installed in the gimp brush folder so its 7 types of rocks in this brush, because its randomized i had to click a few times to get all of them to pop out

Ok there a fair few who are getting into DnD and may want to make character pictures Let's be realistic though, the Chance off finding pictures in free sites like pixabay that is exactly representative in features of your character is not that likely always. So post here what you need to do to fix features of your char, it helps if you found a base picture you want to base yourself off. No sorry to those who think they would see a non pg-13 picture in here, i am merely showing the technique cause i know many picture sources have many good pics thats non pg-13 if you verify you are adult/want to see adult content and there is no reason to despair if you stumble upon one that you for the face or consept or hand position want to use it. Just dress it, and this tutorial will show the simplest way to do so in my mind (of course you can find a picture with a person with similar position that has clothes and edit on those close on your pic, but sometimes finding that is hard, or the lightsetting is wrong so it wouldnt look good or..or..) …

ok we are new and working on geting up and running but having a focus, some ideas and prioritizing can help us when the movies hit we migth have an influx of members...what are ideas for things we should get done then? and what are things you would like to see more of, that you think will be usefull to dealing with a potential influx, and making them feel welcome so they stay?

Firstly, lets get the "boring" juridical stuff out of the way, aka Copyrigths. This means you can't just google whatever you want, snag it out of your browser, and use it for sigs. The maker or taker of the picture owns it, and using it without consent is illigal! (Thats the short version, if you want to know more you can start here: Digital Millenium Copyright Act) Now too the good news; a good amount of pages online actually have stuff you can use for free, either by crediting, or even without crediting. ok now we all different so please validate and respect that, even if you dont agree with someone as opinions on things that may be reflected in their posts - ongoings in the world can obviously be something that can block peoples inspiration.
