Well I signed up for the US Navy some months back. My original leave date was Agust 12, then it changed to March 3rd. Now, it changed again. I'm leaving September 24th, and won't be back for at lest two months, or maybe four or so. Now sure yet. Just a heads up for those I got threads with.

So.... while I was explaining to my husband that only two of my electives count towards my WS and confusing him horribly, I brought up the Warder Advancement page for him and found, much to my amazement, that it had been changed from 2 possible electives to 4 possible electives. For real? Like, yeah? Because that would be absolutely awesome and it would free me from trying to stick in the mounted archery contest in our Merry Band trip that has very quickly turned a bit too serious for a random arms contest to feel particularly... logical. Sunday morning may or may not bring Tropical Storm Fay near my doorstep. Tropical storms as always are unpredictable, and I just wanted you to know that we may or may not have issues with it (power out, cable out etc) depending on how strong the winds are and such. As a division we are alloted 3 power wrought swords. Because this is a prestigious item we have reserved one for our bi-annual/annual tournament specifically for the sword. Current holder is Rosheen. Tourneys will be held around December and June when ever somoeone is able to run it. The tourney champion gets a +1 to their Fight Score (WS + random luck factor) as defending champion the next tourney but must give up the sword to showcase during the tournament as the prize. Because I am so bored I came across this in the armory page. It said we had three available. Do we still have these or have they been discontinued? If I remember correctly they are not susceptible to the elements (don't rust), they do not need sharpening, and are supposedly indestructible except if you thrust it into one of the Forsaken or the DO like Rand did. Basically they are just a novelty item that saves you a little time since there is no maintenance to perform.

Couple things, in the announcement board is a Code of Conduct, many of you haven't responded. Please check it out if you haven't. so part of the sudden leaving was that work was getting nuts for me. They were talking about having me become a student manager and so I was taking on all kinds of stuff. Anyway this next semester I'm gonna stay where I am or become a student cook, I work in the cafeteria on campus, and things go back to normal starting next Thurs, so a week. I had the conversation lately with several people, so just to clear it up No staff will not run around checking if you did things, nor take brief mentions here there or where ever The only way to get credits is to report it to your character tread on the req report board under your faction. You can poke staff elsewhere to say you did so, or just edit the headline and bump the topic. But unless its posted with reference to the req you filled, and a link bellow the reference in the report board, it will not be considered reported, and nor acredited. Any threads that you may have in progress towards your promotion can be linked in a post for the purpose of ease of tracking. Two novices, Selene and Carina, are headed off to the stables to fill in when the majority of the stable hands all contract the same bug and have to recover in the infirmary. Trainees are welcome to stop by and join in, but this is set after our group of trainees are raised to TG. Thera would have been informed by Nynaeve Sedai that there were going to be novices in the stable, but probably only just recently informed, as the stable hands falling sick wasn't something that gave a lot of warning. The choice between Path or Discipline is not a new debate, and it seems like everyone has an opinion. After much discussion with the staff we have decided to scrap both the old paths and the old disciplines; while this decision may not make everyone happy I think the solution will. We wanted to give the members a chance at helping rebuild their division. We will be republishing the Paths and Disciplines on the Warders Site for a few weeks to give you all a chance to look them over.
