Unfortunately, due to the recent upheaval and pressure in real life. TaeaDawn has decided to leave the Wolfkin DL position and take a short LOA from the RP side to concentrate on her RL problems. Because our numbers are so small we have decided that in the best interest of the division we will be combining the teams and the companies into one entity. As a trainee you will be assigned a company. In this company you will stay into Tower Guard hood. So for a trainee this means that you will be part of the larger tower guard structure at the start. Tower Guards this means you will have trainees under you now. For Warders with the new implementation of the WS 6 = TG now it means that you were a TG for a minimum period of time for WS 6 and 7 complettion. Here are some thoughts about what could possibly done better with the Alin Awards next time. - Restrict the number of candidates / category to just 5 or so. It is a hard choice to prune out awesome threads nominated but it lowers the threshold to vote. - Allow one RP to be as a candidate for only one category. This will help to achieve also lesser numbers of categories. For example this year Laurel Crown was nominated for both Adventure and Most Impressive Storyline, so the organiser would have to choose for which it is more appropriate. - Maybe consider splitting categories which are getting alot of nominations. Zoe sighed in delight, soaking in the hot vanilla scented water. The bathing area in the Fortress of light was quite well maintained. After all, you can't fight the dark forces of evil when you smell. Swishing her legs in and out of the water, Zoe giggled to herself. The nominations for this year are done so it is time to cast gazes to the future. The best threads can be planned before hand only so much because it is the characters that really make the story come alive. But to do some plotting, what kind of stories do you think could win Awards in year 2008? Have you read some good books or seen good movies that could be gleaned for ideas for the genre categories?
