While taking a break from NaNo i was talking with the lovely Shan about RP plotting and Ideas and how everything has a "vs" element to thier character that drives them to fight. For example: My NaNo is about Maegan and more often than not her driving force is herself. A "Self Vs. Self" form of nature. Arie on the other hand is a "Love Vs. Hate" complex. What sort of complexes do you use in your writing and what defines them as part of your characters? And do you look at these concepts when you plot away behind your computer? If not, what might change if you did?

The Green Ajah's hall hadn't been this clean in years, she thought to herself with a certain satisfaction. Not that it was ever dirty or even untidy, but she had asked for a special cleaning of the hall for the occasion and the staff of the White Tower had not disappointed. The battle tapestries that lined their walls were newly cleaned, the various swords that decorated both wall and doors were cleaned and as gleaming as could considering how old some were. Alright, so I am about to give up on DM.
