ok, so basically here's the short of it all. There are Brigands infesting the Two Rivers, now that the mines are open that far south in the Mountains. They have been raping and pillaging pretty much unchecked. So now the Band of the Red Hand is doing something about it. Basically what we're looking for is some people to make TPCs to fight against the Band (not openly in battle, but more guerilla... at first anyways). Most of the stories we write here in DM explore some pretty profound topics and I'm curious to hear what kind of subjects move your characters currently or have moved them in the past. Two major subjects for my Aes Sedai Arette have been giving up her illusions that she can control things, happenings and people around her and that she even has to. For a very long time she thought that she knew what was for the best for those close to her which lead to all kind of issues. And at the same time she refused to face and deal with her our insecurities. She hid behind the mask of an Aes Sedai and felt comfortable in that role but not as a mere woman and person. …

I had clearly way too much time in my hands today since I begun to wonder what my DM characters would be like if the personalities and their histories were roughly the same but they were transfered into the modern world. Arette, my exiled Aes Sedai, would obviusly have been a mousy librarian but in her current state she would be a voluntary humanitarian worker working in some industrialized country to help poor people. I am organising a prank. A very large prank any any of you are more than welcome to attend. Essentially several cells of accepted and novices, accompanied by Estel Sedai, will ransack the white tower and get up to all sorts of nonsense. There are a few preplanned surprises: removing the library doors, dyeing the laundry black and welding tables and chairs to ceilings. I am open to suggestions and whatnot. The month after the fall of Forsaken Serashada had been busy and stressful time for Arette but it had been a huge relief to know that the threat shadowing the whole Illian was gone now.
