  1. Can someone please sticky this note. Thanks. I am going to be attempting to put together an online "Get Well" Talent display for all members of Dragonmount. Anyone is welcome to participate, talented in your opinion or not, it's the thought that counts. The idea is to create a webpage (several to be exact) that is dedicated to telling and showing RJ how much his world means to us and that we wish him well in his treatment and recovery periods. If you write poetry feel free to submit something. If you make graphics feel free to sumit whatever you like. If you can make webpages help out in displaying other peoples work, and your own. Don't thin…

I started an open RP as part of my requirements for Lyv's training. Feel free to jump in and help me out, right now I had Lyv fighting with her captain and some may have overheard. She is currently in conversation with Aran but as it is an Open RP I have no plans for the next step. The title is Wear Sunscreen, which is just as open a title as this RP is. *big grin* So, if you have an idea and can help me along, maybe suggest to Lyv a prank to pull on her captain or shout her down for not being responsible enough around trainees when flinging buckets of water... Well you get the picture, right? All events have consequences for all involved, but timeline wise I have no …

Smiling dreamily, Aran was taking his ease with his constant companion on the yards, Faith, when he noticed something through barely opened slits. His favourite person had finally decided to go on their break and get something to eat. That was what he'd been waiting for, and it was about time that the wench had decided to get a move on. Of course, that left the little matter of the required assistance, but Aran was quite confident. He'd spent the past week picking out potential candidates, after all there had been no rush in the task, and most would be keen. Especially with a bit of incentive thrown in. Patting Faith's roots, Aran curled his legs in and rocked…

Alexander smiled at his daughter as she heeded her horse into a gallop, she was eager to get to Cairhien and find her mother and Alex could not blame her. He had received a short letter from her and his princess had found it, she had yelled at him and cried for he had kept her from her mother. They had reconciled as Alex had to promise that he would take her to meet her mother, he had left his girlfriend, Elia behind, pregnant carrying his child, another promise he had to keep. To return to her and be a part of a new family, his own family. The thought of finding Elia with a soft rounding in her belly when he returned in a month or two, that was what kept him going. She h…

  7. ANDULAR The journey east was made pleasant by Wall’s story telling. Both Eyota and Nights enjoyed listening to the big man talk and the three shared a laugh at many of his tales. Once they rode out of the Mountains of Mist Eyota took the point and led them to some back trails well away from the main roads. The weather was kind to them with warm dry days and cool cloudless nights. Nights enjoyed those times most of all seated around a fire roasting rabbits and joking with his friends. The wolves were always with them of course warning them of any unwanted attention they might be riding toward. Good to his word Eyota kept them on sound trails away from the w…

  8. EYOTA Today would be a challenging day. He had trained countless new wanderers; but this was the first time he had to train someone who couldn’t see. John had asked him to take the task, and as always Eyota had agreed. He was a little nervous to be working with this boy, working in close proximity to another. Eyota had left word at the infirmary for the boy to meet him in the woods out by his cave. He knew he had a companion and he hoped he would work as the boys eyes in the tangled brush. Before the boy actually came into sight Eyota caught his scent, Eyota could tell the young one was slightly nervous. He could understand his hesitation, he had felt much the …

  10. Liitha had learned litle on the whips it was her second weapon but she had focused a lot on her katana instead, she wanted to corect that and had wondered who to ask. Then a tingle in her head had had her go read through her mothers letters and came across that her first mentor had the whip as a weapon though her mother never had taken an intrest in it. However this ment Liitha could coordinate learning the whip with learning about her mother perhaps and she set out to seek the man with name Alriand. She asked some older Tower Guards and was pointed in the direction of the far corner of the yard. She saw a man practising sword forms and since no one else was around she se…

  11. The moon was rising over Tar Valon. Silver rays of moonlight were turning the night sky into a bright and pure indigo instead of it's usual inkblack. The night was cold as well; it was only a few degrees above freezing point, but there was still somebody braving the garden on top of the White Tower. On top of that large building with it's spiraling pyres, a garden lay. Hardly anyone ever came here to tend to the flowers and bushes, but that didn't really matter because they were of the hardened kind, the kind that grew without much encouragement. Battle-hardened, Lanfir called them in her mind, weathered through the elements and all the odds. Like me, she thought, and the…

  12. Lyanna lazily turned around between the cool sheets, watching specks of dust drifting down the rays of light that slanted through the half closed drapes before the windows. This high up in the Tower, you could always hear the wind, no matter what time of year, and so she listened to the flutes and pipes the wind resembled, for a long time. Lannie was still fast asleep beside her, the white-golden locks tumbled and her face innocent and dreamlike, a small smile gracing her lips. The long blonde lashes made her almost look like a child again, but Lyanna knew better. They were old. But life went on for Aes Sedai and stretched. Sometimes she felt stretched too thin. I…

Her fingers ran over the piece of parchment, the journal that laid before her as it had laid before other Head Clerks centuries before her. Part of her duty was to report to those that came in time about what Ajah business was solved, discussed or passed in meetings. What happened in these meetings, who was met in secret and what Sitters were found unfit and needed to be removed from their seat. All this information was shared among the Head Clerks of the Ajah, one passed and a new one took on the burden of keeping these secrets to herself. These secrets that could destroy the Ajah and make it blossom, just as the gossip that ran through the Tower these days could. Phaedr…

I guess it would make more sense if it was someone she recognized or vice versa, but that may be too hard with me not knowing as many people here anymore... hrmmmm... :?

Sorry about my lack of prescence, I RL has been beating the crap out of me of late and I have just recently taken care of it all. Owen, I'm sorry about the ranger thread, I know exactly how I'm going to finish it, if you don't mind I can end it in one swift drunken post of misery over the death of Aleeza, whom Matronas was getting quite chummy with. Just give me the go ahead and I will bring it over and finish it off.

By the time Rosheen and Lyv left Aran’s room after a night that had been filled with murder and confessions, Rosheen was quite sure that she would never sleep again. Thoughts were racing through her head, and it felt as though she was filled to the brim with emotions. Mostly anger though. Anger because Aran had never bothered to trust them with his secrets. A lot of anger, most of which she knew was completely irrational. Now if she’d been this angry at anyone else, Aran would have taken the time to mock her for acting like a silly wench. That thought only made her more angry, up to the point where she could feel a quiet, dangerous sort of rage bubbling to the surface…

ooc: I wrote this assuming that the original 'Soul Searching' thread never happened, but the chore before that thread did. Poke me if you had something else in mind. :) ic: Lwena frowned and glanced around the room, hands on her hips. It was a disaster, simply put - it seemed like a storm had blown through the room, the only indication otherwise being that everything was dry. Well, mostly everything - a clumsy Novice had knocked over a pot of tea onto several papers that had been resting on the table, and that patch wasn't dry, though it wasn't exactly wet, either. It was just sticky, and rather disgusting. When had this room gotten to be in such poor condition, a…

"If" there was the possibility of RPing with the White Tower, in more respect, the Red ajah, Would there be any interest in this division? After a recent discovery by a few unexpecting accepteds, the Red Ajah have come to learn something new about thier purpose as Red's. (RP Links - http://www.whitetowerdiv.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5667 ) My curiously young little Sitter, Maegan, would actually like to take this knowledge a step furter and meet up with a talented Ashie to 're-create' a bonding weave that benefits both channelers. This would be a one-on-one Rp, but i doubt that Mae would be going alone, and that it would be that easy to get co-operation. Anyways,…

  23. By the time they stepped through the door of the sickroom, Carise’s usual calm was quickly dissipating from the nervous chattering of the women who had followed her up the rickety stairs. She took a quick look at the two children on the bed, then turned swiftly to the matrons with a reassuring smile on her face. In a firm and slightly impatient tone, she asked if they could kindly take themselves downstairs to soothe the men - ? Mistress Karyl looked as if she might find it in herself to resist, but the rest of the women understood the tone behind the Aes Sedai’s words and soon the entire flock was trotting hurriedly back down, steps creaking under their weight. In t…

  24. Daruun walked calmly from the barracks that he had just recently moved into towards the clearing he had designated as his training area. Glancing out of the corner of his eye he saw Kedyn walking in the same direction "Kedyn!" he called out. The two of them had gone through Officer Training School together but had never really become close friends. When the scout approached him Daruun addressed him. "Peace favour your sword my friend, are you ready for a good workout?" "Yes." mumbled the younger man. Daruun could tell that he was still upset over the loss of Lavena. "Well Kedyn, I think you will enjoy my workout. I find it helps get my mind off the world and helps to reli…

Gaiya moved through the hallways, Novices quickly moved out of Gaiya’s way to avoid the thunderhead that was an almost palpable aura surrounding the disgruntled Accepted. Soon enough she arrived at her destination, the library. Burn that Novice! she thought, livid at Fiera’s knack at not being found. She fixated on another Novice sitting in the library, her nose in a book, apparently enthralled. Gaiya moved over towards the Novice, half-heartedly trying to suppress the anger welling in her. She supposed it wouldn’t be fair to lash out, but it was only a whisper of a thought. “You, Novice, tell me your name.†Gaiya was trying to keep the anger out of her…

The dispute with the miners in the foothills of the Mountains of Mist had been resolved, and the party of Aes Sedai had begun to head back to Tar Valon. They stopped and spent the night in Baerlon, although Dafydd was far from happy at the prospect of spending any time at all in the area where he'd grown up. Everywhere he went seemed flooded with memories, and painful ones at that. He had been very young when he was sent to live with his uncle out in the country, but the smells and sounds of Baerlon were as familiar to him as if he'd left yesterday. They were the same smells and sounds of any town really, especially in this part of the world, but something about knowing w…

I’ve recently returned to DM and have started RPGing again. I’ve talked with Kael and I’m setting up a Scout training thread on the Citadel boards. It’s open to any Scout that wants to train. My wish is to get to know some of the people that have joined the Band since I’ve been gone, and I’d also like to help you meet your rank advancement requirements. Here’s the link and I hope to see some of you join in. If anyone has any questions or comments, please feel free to post here or PM me.…
