For those of you new to DM, these awards are for the cream of the crop at DM... or whatever happens to float to the top. :P The dates covered are from January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2009, so any thread that started after that date is not up for awarding. That doesn't mean you can't nominate threads that are still ongoing. Feel free to pencil in the Band for everything. Really. I won't complain. :D

Just wanted to stop in here, and say hello, so people know me... Just made an Aes Sedai char, first toon on DM atm. I used to be on the forums forever and a half ago, years and years, and recent nostalgia brought me back for round two, I suppose. I doubt many people would remember me from before, as I don't remember many of the people who were here, lol, but! I look forward to RP'ing again, and getting to know the new people around here. Oh, and... I need RPs. Cause... I don't have anything at all planned out just yet... ;)

Before the voting can start, however, a nomination round is held. During this round DM members (that means you) can nominate their favorites in each category. I'm going to do a weapon training RP but first i'd like some background either in the thread or in the form of a link directing to where I can read about it. Specifically what is training for Myrddraal like? Am I going to have some Task Master shouting orders at me? Running drills? Where do Myrddraal sleep? In near darkness Anwashawn Ellasser waited outside the stables for the rest of his party to arrive. ...From what i'd like to call my New Year's Extended Leave. Normally, i visit forums according to a schedule and a certain amount of routine. Post here, post there, and generally manage to cram everything into a couple days after which the process is repeated. Between Xmas and New Year however, i usually stay at my parents' house where internet access is limited. It 'breaks the habit' so to speak, and usually takes me a couple of weeks to get back in the rhythm.
