Visar stretched and began his usual morning exercises an hour before dawn. He remembered that waking up so early had been so difficult for him years before. But now, it seemed only natural, only part of the routine. Only his training this morning had a slight edge. He was to teach some new trainees the basics of the sword, and he did not want to disappoint. However, that was not to say he had any intention of going easy on any of them. If they wimped out, they were simply not cut out for this life, and Visar would be doing them a favor by being tough on them. His exercises done, and the things he wanted to teach already structured carefully in his mind, Visar b…

OOC: Okay hunni this was rather hard to get through it ran a bit long. If you need me to add/subtract or anything let me know okay. *snuggles* IC: Rasheta was staring at the wall in her room, she knew that today was the third day she’d locked herself in her room. Somewhere in the back of her mind she knew that her warders were worried about her but it wasn’t really important to her. Oddly she didn’t feel hungry either and she knew that she should if she didn’t eat soon she was sure she would waste away, didn’t worry her either. She knew also in the back of her mind that she was in one of her depressed moods, she still felt guilty about being a live while Adria…

OOC: Continued from An Urgent Departure IC: Owen had set them a grueling pace since leaving the Stedding. but the mission was urgent so there were no complaints. Their compassion compelled them to push on beyond what Burrich would have thought possible. Yet, when he considered the fate that awaited the young Wanderer, he found the strength to endure. The trails they were using were narrow and steep, which slowed their progress significantly. Currently, they were forced to ride single-file with the wolves ranging out in front, in the rear, and even in between riders. It had been a very quiet journey. The vigorous pace left little energy for idle talk and eve…

OOC: This is continued from A Chance Encounter IC: Shawn nudged Blaze into a trot and passed Carina Sedai before she made it through the gate of the Yard. It would not do for her to request an escort and get hurt because she was too reckless to let him do his job. he would have to speak to her about that. Shawn led Carina through the streets of Tar Valon. He nodded to the Guards on duty at the bridge and they continued across to one of the small bridge towns on the west coast of the Erinnen. Stopping to look around Shawn turned back to Carina Sedai, "I know you said you were in a hurry, but I do not yet know how time sensitive this mission is. I have b…

This is a video I stumbled into on You-Tube. Its a slide show of pictures of wolves set to the song "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lljBSQdlvY Its a good video. Though, I feel I should mention it was done by a man and his grandfather shortly before the grandfather's passing.

It was a long trip to the Borderlands for Slade. He traveled alone and he traveled light. His horse in which he named Sereh in memory of deceased twin. The horse was vibrant and full of life, traits that always made Slade think of his sister. After a few weeks of sleeping on the ground had made Slade's eyes perk up the sight of the small town he now approached and the fairly sized Inn that was within. It would feel good to have a bath, a warm dry bed to sleep in and a good meal. And of course an ale or 2. Slade made his way to the Inn. It was coming on dusk and the townsfolk were closing up shops for the day. Making his way to the Inn Slade handed the stable …

I'd like to start RPing with my selfish little brat, Namore. Her Bio is in the 'new characters' sticky on top of the board. Basically, she will be travelling the lands and she will have plenty of opportunities to meet and bump into all sorts of different people along the way. From Innkeepers to Palace servants, from land lobbers to sea pirates. Anything at all is possible. Anyone up for a bit of RPing fun?

Ed and Shawn discover they're both PoW and have no one to train them past what they already know. They decide to start training themselves, Dante decides to come, too. It was a hot night, the kind of humid evening that caused beads of perspiration to decorate the faces of even those in relative cool of the streets. Bandar Eban was like this too often, and the weather was made a hundred times worse by the heat coming from the large ovens in the kitchen of the Giggling Ass. Maicey wiped the sweat from her brow to no avail. The inn wasn't the most reputable, and with a name like the Giggling Ass she wasn't surprised, but the Innkeeper gave her good honest work, which counteracted the sometimes rowdy crowd. And the crowd wasn't all that bad, given the reputation the place had for it's brilliant native cuisine. People from all over came just…

Caemlyn. Evaline could scarcely believe her eyes as row upon row of buildings passed them by as her father deftly manoeuvred their wagon around the bustle of people milling the streets. It was her first trip to such a big city, having spent her entire life sheltered in a small village some distance from the nation's capital. This year however, her father had deemed her mature enough to accompany him on his annual sojourn to purchase cloth for the upcoming year. Evaline fairly buzzed with muted excitement; keeping it under tight reign was far more proper for a young lady than to bounce about with glee. Still, her hazel eyes sparkled and drank up the sights before her. …

As the Traveling portal closed behind Martyn, the Malkieri warrior took a deep breath, wondering where he was supposed to go to now. He knew who he needed to see, a woman named Salla Alliatar, acting Commander of the Band of the Red Hand. And in his hand, he held a letter bearing the seal of the Dragon himself, which probably meant orders from above. He could understand how he got to be selected for this task. He had been among those that fought that disastrous battle in Shienar. Narrowing down the options further, he had also been with the group in Tear that had sworn fealty to the Lord Dragon, and had recieved training from him personally. And lastly, his block mad…

Come and play! I have already created a morat'raken character and have plans for 2 more. So lets slur our speech and reclaim the lands of Hawkwing in the name of the Empress may she live forever. Seriously anyone have any Seanchan characters that they would like to RP with? If not why not create 1 or 3. ;D

They know. The Admins are attempting to fix it. It may take time, so please don't PM them on it. It'll be up as soon as possible, and I'll delete this when it is--so when this thread disappears you know the issue is fixed.

Iralaeia’s bones ached with weariness as she followed the white clad novice in front of her. She had never ridden a horse before, but in the weeks travelling from Caemlyn to Tar Valon she had plenty of time to practice and by the end both Mayarin Sedai and her Warder, Junas, had commented on how adept she had become in such a short space of time. During those weeks Iralaeia had said next to nothing, only speaking when spoken to. Mayarin Sedai had taken this as a sign of obedience when in fact it was Iralaeia’s way of dealing with her new life. While travelling she had helped the Warder gather firewood and prepare meals when needed and listened not quite as intently …

Dyrum couldn’t help but gape as her small party of three, led by the Aes Sedai Meraila Covan of the Blue Ajah, crossed the marvelous white bridge spanning the river between the mainland and the magnificent island city of Tar Valon. It had been a long and arduous journey; Dyrum wasn’t accustomed to such hardships as riding all day and sleeping in the wilderness if there was not an inn handy. However, every time she voiced her concern, either Meraila Sedai or her Warder, Jowan would give the girl a single look, but say nothing on the matter. Dyrum had learned quickly that her temper had no effect on these people, considering how disastrous her first attempt had been. The yo…

Trying to finish up my bio, and I just want to make sure that I get the end of it right... If my character seeks out the amnesty in Tear, should I leave it open in Tear and rp being found/recruited/stuffed in a sack? Or should I just say yep, they found him and carted him off to The Farm, and then post an intro thread on the actual Farm board? >.> Or do it be mattering? (ha I have that accent in my head now from reading a couple of Lavinya's posts, aaaah)

Just thought I'd toss out a Hi to y'all, I'm in the process of scheming up a new bio so I can learn some crazy man-channeling fun. Also, I just started a re-read and realized that it's going to take a..... long time. If anybody could point me to a site with some of the last few books summarized, I'd really appreciate it. I haven't managed to find one on my own yet, and I'm dying to read the most recent book but for the life of me can't remember what is going on. ::)

Greetings, my pretties! I am your new Mistress of Novices. I have done this job before, for around two years, so hopefully it will all come back to me and the transition will be smooth. :) About me - I am a mother of two delightful children, and I live in Australia with hubby and the rugrats. So yes, that means my timezone is GMT+10. My state does NOT have daylight savings, so it will always be the same. I am online a lot. I check my email several times a day, and am available on messenger frequently. I usually stay signed in when I'm not there, so if I don't respond don't worry, I will get back to you as soon as I can! You can contact me several ways, if you ne…

I thought we could use some space to chat, since we're not all three on at the same time. Sangreal had some awesome ideas while we were yacking about it last night, so I'll let him fill in what I'm missing. I'll try this in timeline format and see how it works: 1~ Ed and Kennar meet again (during shifts in duty, after shifts at the bar, other options?) 2~ They find themselves hanging out more often than not and become "friends." (in quotes, because I'm pretty sure he's not interested in friendship with a light-fool) 3~ Sandre tries to warn Ed that something's not right with Kennar, she gets angry (because that's what she does) and decides she'll ha…
