It has been a very long time since I was a member here. The majority of you won't remember me, and if there are those that do, I would be surprised. A huge WOT fan and an avid writer I joined Dragonmount.com when it still looked like this: http://web.archive.org/web/19991111013711/www.dragonmount.com/ Truth is, I was never sure why I left. I was young then, and while most assumed I was older some knew the truth of my lie and didn't mind. High school and subsequently, college absorbed my life. Much was left behind as my departure was sudden, unexplained, and left many with questions and even, sadly, an Aes Sedai without the warder she was to be bonded to. OOC I kept…

Hello there. I have already chosen to put my fate with the Black Tower. My character is an Andoran horse rancher that is kind of plain but with a winning attitude that has won over many friendships. As for me, I am really into the books and have read most of them many times over but am impatient for the next ones.

Hey everybody, after frequently checking RJ's blog to see his updates, I looked abit around here and decided to join, don't know how active I'll be, but I'll sure try. Im currently almost done with Book 7, and remember reading the first one in Spring 2005. RJ has occupied a whole that previously only Tolkien has filled, now its both of them ;D

Hail, I am Catsohori, lyricist, violinist, writer and somewhat a jack of all art non drawing painting trades. Having read the WoT series after much bothering last year while rereading the Simarillion, I found it's vast epic tale with politics, romance and combat to be quite interesting. A mixture of the House Wars of Dune, and the epic tales of Middle Earth, I am currently rereading the series as a new tradition that I will now do once a year. After much pondering however, and a lack of local fellow WoT readers and fans where I live. I have decided to read and join in discussion here if you will have me upon these boards. I hope to bring some interesting point…

Hi everybody! I read the first three WoT books a couple years ago, and have recently decided to read the entire series. I've been surfing the net looking for the best site/forums for the WoT series, and this site beats all the others hands down. Thanks to everybody that make this site a reality, allowing me a place to talk about my newfound favourite series in the entire fantasy genre! I'll eventually start writing a little WoT fiction, but I wouldn't know which ORG would be the best for this. Any help would be fantastic, and thanks! ;D

Hi! I just joined up a couple days ago after skulking through the discussion forums for a few months. I'm addicted, having read through all the published books numerous times, varying according to how long they've been out. I guess I've been on the 'ride' that is WOT since about 1999. So, I'm familiar with the whole..... wait a long time and then as soon as the new book hits bookstores lose a week's worth of sleep and then waiting a long time..... pattern. I'm from Texas (in case that needs to be addressed) and..... yeah. I'd love to talk with y'all so send me a message or summat and we'll talk. ;D

Well, I'm a relatively new fan to WOT just under a year, but I'm dying to talk to someone about but my friends could never handle a book like WOT... not to mention everyone down here speaks spanish and WOT would just be too much of a challenge... but still my search is never ending! Any body from Dominican Republic? (fat chance but its worth a try)Well i guess thats about it. Live long and prosper? O.o lol

Hello, I'm one of the authors in the new Dragonmount fiction anthology, so I figured I'd better finally join and say hi. It's good to join the community. I know I'm a newbie, but if you haven't seen the anthology yet I really encourage you to check it out, and I'm not just saying that because I'm in it. Seriously, my motives are halfway genuine: the book looks great, the stories are awesome(at least the ones I've read so far), and all the proceeds from sales go to charity. I bought a copy. My mother did too. Join me, my mother, and the mothers of all the other contributors and buy your copy today! Was that too over the top? Sorry. The book really is good,…

Hello all...my name is Nik(hil) and I'm a resident physician in LA. Its great to see an active WoT forum such as this and to see so many lovers of this great series like myself. I first read Eye of the World during my second year of med-school, its gotten me through many long nights and pretty soon I found myself addicted to the words that stem from Robert Jordan's mind. I've read the series bout 2 times and I'm currently reading Knife of Dreams for the first time...so looking forward to that now...anyways may peace be with you all!!

??? Heyyyya, found my way over here. So anyone tired of me yet? ha! no don't answer that. All I know is, I've been trying for months and months to make new uploads in my gallery and every time I get a message like this: Directory 'albums/userpics/16388/' is not writable, files can't be deleted I've tried everything I can think of- even to starting over and making a new account- which didn't work apparently cos there's no option to get a new gallery account. PLEASE tell me what I can do to make this work. I see lots of new pics on there- only I seem to be having any problem. Help? *feeling rather desperate* Thanks a million, Leaf

Well, already posted in the new members thread, and since it seems like all the new comers are asked to make their own thread, as I was too, I decided to do it.... hmmmm.... what can I say about myself as an introduction.. I tend to be a bit on the wacky side if you can't already tell then I apologize for not bringing it on heavy enough. I'm in the US Army currently stationed in Germany where I do lots of boring stuff. Really, trust me, it is so boring, if I told you, you'd probably die of absolute boredom. It's not even a joke man, I swear. But enough of that. I originally started reading the WoT epic back in the 1900s..... an exact time, I can't give you, I just kn…

I've been reading WOT for 11 years now, and I've been stopping in at Dragonmount for about the last five years...but never got around to registering here. I'm re-reading the Wheel again...for the seventh or eigth time (depending on which books in the first seven you are talking about) and for the third or fourth time (depending on which books in 8-11 you are talking about). Anyway, I just figured I would register and check out some of the WOT discussion around here. 31/M, Dothan, AL. Married. Three kids (13,3,4mos).

Greetings all! As the topic states, I am new to this site, but have been reading WoT for a while. Read and re-read several times in fact. That's only because, sometimes, there aren't a lot of other things to do on an Army base. Which leads into a little about me. I am currently serving in the US Army, stationed in wonderful Germany. I have been in for about 3 years now, and I love everything that I do. 26 years old, 2 wonderful little boys, divorced (not uncommon for the military, unfortunately). I'm looking forward to reading through some of the threads and posts and finding out more about my favorite series of books. Wishing everyone the best! Tschus!
