Hello Dragonmount World..! I very accidentally fell upon this site on my path to discovering fan-made artwork of characters from the books. Ah well, The Wheel Weaves as The Wheel Wills. hello, I am new to this site and series. I am a fanatic reader of anything and everything GRRM has written. I have purposely avoided the other supposed cannon of fantasy secondary to my fierce loyality to GRRM. But I have become discouraged reading ASOIAF. The story has fizzled in the fifth book and I can't bear to wait five years just to be hoodwinked again. Hi, I am new to Dragonmount, and I have only recently began reading the WoT serries. I am just on book three but I am eager to finish them. I am also doing a book club blog at www.worldscollide.us. I read fantasy and science fiction books and discuss how these genres deal with issues we face everyday. Right now I am doing blogs on the first book "Wheel of Time". Hey everyone, I've been researching TWoT series for the past few days because a friend of mine recommended it to me. When I searched for "The Wheel of Time" I came across this forum and decided to sign up and see what's going on. The series seems right up my ally and i'm so excited to start reading!

Every time I accidentally clicked on a link to DM, I quickly looked away & hit the back button, convinced I'd glimpse a spoiler from a book I hadn't read yet! So i have been reading WOT for years and years and years. I have reread them too many times to count. I truly love the take on the books "magic" very different and i love it. I own all of the books in Hardcover, and all of the books that you can in paperback, and soon all the Kindle edition ones. These books are by far my most favorite "fade to black/non-gore" high fantasy. If you wont get what i mean, its that no sex scenes, and no real gore/gross stuff. I do understand these forums are for WoT, but i cant be the only one to read other books while waiting for the newest book to be released. I'm Luke. I've been reading the Wheel of Time series for a long time but never tried out any kind of site because I didn't have time. I recently lost my job and didn't really have anything better to do, so I figured I'd look around some and see what was out there. I didn't realize so many people had so many ideas on what was going to happen with the series. Perrin is my favorite, with Mat a close second. I don't like Egwene (seems like a lot of people do considering what I've read) and I despise Elayne. I'm hoping she pops out her babies and dies on the spot. I've just started the 3rd book. Even though they're ripoffs of Tolkien, I still enjoy them nonetheless. I have a few questions I need to ask w/o spoilers, but surely if I ask them here, some armchair expert who lives with his mom and stays on this forum 24/7 will begin his rant of rules, appropriate threads, etc... Hello all this is SwordSworn. I'm about halfway through Lord of Chaos and I love this series its good to see that there communities revolving around it.

After being disappointed by the latest installment of Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series, I realized I needed to find myself a new fantasy series to become encapsulated in. Fortunately, I chose this one, and half way through the first book, I can already tell that I will become an incredibly dedicated fan. I've never been a part of any type of novel-based community, but felt like a simple reading of this series would be insufficient. Hi! Longtime WOT fan here, sorry 14th book will end series but hoping for a spectacular finale! I envision, in the last chapter, the 5 Emond's Fielders returning home in a grand procession highlighted with a ceremony in which Queen Elayne installs High Lord Perrin as Steward of the Two Rivers. Mat is my favorite character, he has evolved from mischevious prankster to a responsible (LOL!) Great Captain. Indeed, he has come full circle and now is relaxed enough to once again play pranks with agitated badgers...

Hello everybody! I just finished the 9th book for the first time and am looking forward to reading the next four. I was kind of naughty and looked ahead to see what happened to Moiraine, but I could have guessed that anyway when I found out what the Dark One did to Lanfear. Oh, and I should not have spoiled the Tower of Genji either. I will have to wait 5 months and then read the next few books during winter break when I have forgotten all of these spoilers! I usually avoid posting, due to the fact that I don't usually have much to say. I like reading about the many theories people have about the series, so I visit this site quite regularly.
