Hi! I´m a new member and thought I should introduce myself. I started to read The Wheel of time eleven years ago. I loved the story from the beginning, was a bit disapointed in the middle and now I´m anxious to know the end. When you read my thoughts in the future so please try and forgive my spelling and grammar. :)

Hello everyone. Just a quick introduction here. I have read the forums for years and I have decided that since the end is in sight it was time to join so that I could post some thoughts and questions that are sure to come up in these later books.

Hey there all. This is my first time on this site but my sister in-law tells me it's the bees knees. Anyway, I'm super easy going. Love to read Wheel of Time. My favorite characters are.... pretty much all of them. Aviendha, Perrin, Faile. I haven't finished all the books yet. I'm on book 10 right now. BUT my husband does tell me all the juicy things he shouldn't about the up coming books. Anyway, I'm new so any tips on topics and areas to check out would be appreciated.

Good morning all! I used to be here a long long time ago. Back in 98 and 99, I think. I went by Dreda back then (I think?) It's good to be back! I don't have many people around who are big fantasy fans, so much of my conversations have been limited to Dr. Who, Caprica, and those types of things.

  9. Started by missavonne,

I have been lurking this site for awhile... Especially right before a new book comes out as I start jonesing for all things WoT. I have been following the series since 1998, often re-reading the whole thing for each new release. Glad to be here!

Hi everyone, I'm new here (obviously). A little about my WOT background, I began reading WOT in the mid-90's, got thru the first 3 books (EoTW, TGH, TDR) and then stopped (life happens). I then read the entires series (up to CoT at the time) a few years ago, and of course, have read the latest two books (TGS and ToM). Had no idea about this website until recently, so here I am. Looking forward to satisfying my WOT fix, and meeting other fans in this forum. Thanks to the people who made/make this happen.

Well first you have to some what like bones DVD show but, if you just watch at least the first season you should be hooked, The Tribe DVD the cast just works together so well, makes you wish your job was like cool like there's. Transformer DVD I wasn't a fan of the show the first time I watched it, but like I said watch season one you will be hooked and then you will be on Amazon buying all the seasons Like I did, supernatural DVD can't wait till then season six comes out and hope they never take the show off the air, it's a great show. It's certainly a startling story: a bold mix of horrible and sickly-sweet in a ratio of one to eight. chuck DVD Saoirse Ronan plays Susie…

  13. Started by Hillfood,

So, my nickname is Hillfood, or you can call me Logan, since that's my actual name. I've been answering to either one of them for at least the past four years or so, but one of them I've been answering to my whole life (I'll give you two guesses). I'm in the US Army, have been for 5 and a half years now, doing my second tour in a warzone (first was Iraq, this time it's Afghanistan) so I may or may not be on here very often, depending how my internet situation works out. I’m married, but no children yet. Met my wife online while I was doing a tour in Korea a few years back, and then kind of rushed into the whole marriage part when I got back to the states and found out…

Hi, there! I'm Myrenna, and, obviously, I'm new to this forum. I'm a slow reader, and spent about a year reading the Wheel of Time, I only finished last night -- does that make me a new fan or a yearling fan? :) I'm still absolutely gobsmacked by Towers of Midnight, it was just fantastic. I've wanted to join some sort of Wheel of Time community for a while, but I didn't let myself browse WoT stuff on the internet till I had finished the series! So, here I am. Hello! :)

Since I've already posted, I figured I'd better introduce myself. So,, uh, hi! :D Some vital stats: 30, female, personal trainer. I enjoy weight training, yoga, and to make up for all of that healthy stuff I enjoy good food and love good beer. Especially ugly beer, like a good imperial stout. You know, the kind of beer you can stick a spoon in and expect the spoon to stay upright. (This is probably why I identify with Birgitte so strongly. It certainly can't be because of my aim.) Some favorite movies: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly; Ghostbusters; and of course Blazing Saddles gets an honorable mention, though if you've seen it you should already have guess…

Hi, Everyone! A RL friend of mine (Hi, Alan!) recommended that I join this site. I am (of course) a WOT fan. Unfortunately, I'm not as young as I once was and these last few years, I've felt my brain getting "mushy." In this instance, this means that it's become hard for me to keep track of all the various WOT sub-plots. So you probably won't "hear" me comment very much on those sorts of posts. But I hope to have something intelligent to say occasionally, anyway! :)

Hello! I'm new to the WOT series, but became hooked after the first sentence! My sister in law gave me books 6 through 10, but was not able to find the first 5, so I bought the first one on Amazon fully expecting to find it un-interesting. I don't typically read TOR, so when I became completely enthralled, I was pretty surprised. I've just started book 4, and fully expect to be on book 5 by the end of the month. A bit about myself, I have a 3 year old son, been married 13 years and live in Virginia. I met my husband in High School and married right after High School. I work at a small credit union as the Member Service Coordinator. I read non stop (except when I…

This is my first post and first visit to the site. I've been reading the Wheel of Time series since I wandered into my local bookstore for the last book of Orson Scott Card's Ender series. The clerk who was checking me out told me if I liked Fantasy to check out this series..I left with EOTW and have been hooked ever since. I pre-ordered my copy of TOM 2 mths in advance and was there as soon as the store opened to pick it up. I had it finished within 5 hrs of getting it home. As you can tell from my user name...Nynaeve is my favorite character...followed closely by Mat. I like how she is both level-headed and not at the same time. She is full of contradictions and I thin…

My name is Max and I attend the University of San Diego. I finished my first semester, it was a smashing success, and now that I'm on Winter Break I'm looking for something to do. I forget how much time I have outside social niceties and ignoring my ex and so I thought to myself... "Huh, why not see what this new Wheel of Time nonsense is about" that my sister had been reading. I was into the series, somewhat casually, about five years back and being the obsessive son of a bitch I am I cruised through the first four or five. Since then I've stayed somewhat up to date on the series and enjoyed what I've read yet I haven't picked up one of the books in a long, long time. …

Greetings! Long time lurker and fan. I've been reading WOT forums in one form or another since 96'. I was stationed in Korea, with the US Army, pulling duty in 1992 when I found an abandoned copy of Eye of the World. With hours to kill I started reading. I've been addicted ever since.

Well hello there. I'm just a 14 year old brit that reads very little but likes these books Turns out that Im behind the times abit seeing as Im only on book 6 (so try not to give me spoilers) I spose it means I can't really look at many places on here without ruining it for myself; but of well. I guess thats all there is. My names Charlie and the username is Rose of Blood in japanese. Abit criptic I know but I couldn't bother to think up anything better; well I know it now, so its easier. Hope to be a good person on the forums without getting in the way too much Chi

  29. Started by Iriath Zhul,

Not to be overly dramatic, but after finishing TOM, I now know what it feels like to be stilled. I have been drowning myself in a deluge of awesome for the past month, having reread the entire series in anticipation of TOM, and now it's suddenly over. I almost cried after the epilogue-inspired goosebumps faded away. So here I am, trying to reconnect to Robert Jordan's universe, at least to dull the pain until MOL comes out. I hope to be cordial, informative, and a little nuts when the situation demands it. ~Iriath Zhul (Don't ask about the name; I don't know what it means either)
