Hello, I'm new to the forum, currently reading No.6 Lord of Chaos. I have really enjoyed the series so far. I would like to use this forum to get more of an insight into the story, as the books are so large and I read them sporadically it's hard to keep all the details and characters in mind. All the best, Ax

Good afternoon to all who troll the newb posts. I am probably like many of you here, a long time fan of the series, but a new member to the forum. I have been following Dragonmount.com almost as long as it has been in existence, but never took the time to join in the community. I started reading the WoT series when The Dragon Reborn was still in hard back. It has been a long 19 years following these characters through their growth and maturity. I myself have grown quite a bit with these wastrels. I am probably more knowledgeable than some, but less so than a lot of the "biggest fans." I am hoping that my opinion will count for something (which on a forum, isn't …

While I am new to Dragonmount, I have been reading the series since 1991. After I read Leigh Butler's original WoTFAQ that she had put out back in the early part of this millennium, I discovered how much I had not known about many of the mysteries raised in the books simply because I did not have the information and clues given by RJ (and now Brandon) at book signings and at conventions. Lacking Internet access at the time I was unable to follow the community of fans and the discussions. I have had internet for a few years now, but it wasn't until ToM came out that I really started to get interested in adding my input instead of just scanning through posts. Now after lurk…

Seeing how much it annoyed me that no one in Denmark actually seem to know WoT, I thought I might as well seek out the company of fellow WoT geeks on the interwebs. Looking forward to argue senselessly about whos the most awesome Forsaken! Also... You may find me quite mad... Cheers everyone! <3

Hi everyone, I am new here, thought I would join this community as The Wheel of Time is my favourite series of books ever! I'm only on the start of the third book by the way but I really do find them amazing and hard to put down! I'm 18 and I love reading, writing, ps3, 360 + sports (mainly boxing and 'soccer'). Pleased to meet you all :)

After lurking for years I thought I'd finally join in the debate on whether Elayne is annoying, Egwene is mean and if BS can get Matt "right" So hello all, and roll on 2012 for the big finale!

Hi there fellow fans of all things WOT... I've been reading the series since my sophomore year in High School (1994) at the risk of giving myself away as old. I am totally stoked with the way Brandon Sanderson is handling the series, and can't wait for AMOL. I think his "balls to the wall" style is just what was needed and really compliments Jordan's style. I've totally been putting off joining this site for years, and figure it is about damn time I got around to it. I'm from the Columbus, GA area, so if anybody is from these parts, send me an email. Laters.

Hi, my name is Chris and I'm new to Dragonmount. I have been a fan of the series for a long time and have been a lurker on this website. I found something while playing Diablo 2 that I don't know if anybody else noticed, but I thought was interesting. I don't know if this is a little bit of WoT influence or just coincidence.

I want to say hello. I've been reading the Wheel of Time since just before the publication of Lord of Chaos and I love this series. I love Rand, I guess it isn't all that fashionable these days and I despise Egwene. I have been growing fonder and fonder of Nynaeve and now I love her.

I have had a few false starts into the world of the Wheel of Time where I started and got through volume two then wandered else where. Second time I started and got through to Lord of Chaos then wandered elsewhere. Now I am back to stay for the duration and I am enjoying Crown of Swords. Hope to learn from forum members and get to know the workd of the wheel a lot better than I do now.

Hello, in the past I have browsed this site for WoT related news and such...but after reading the series fully for the first time just a few months ago, I realized that there isn't another series I love as much as WoT, so here I am to join the largest discussion forum for the series...sadly I haven't read or received Towers yet(but I'm getting it next week) and can't wait to read it, so don't spoil it for me... :P

Hi everyone, I first read the Wheel of Time series fifteen years ago at the age of 14. I read until Winters Heart and after that, it just took too long between the release of each book so I left it alone. A few weeks ago I just found out that Robert Jordan passed away (I knew he had cancer but the last piece of news I heard was that he thought he'd be alive for several years yet - yes, I'm that behind, may RJ RIP) so that made me pick up The Eye of the World again (that and the lack of quality fantasy literature since the LOTR movie). I wanted to read the books after Winters Heart but I found that I couldn't really remember much of the storyline and I wanted to appre…

More years ago than I care to consider, I got a copy of "The Eye of the World" by some unknown author named Robert Jordan. I knew that "The Lord of the Rings" had made a huge impression on my life as a young man and I needed something like that in my life again. I followed Rand and company until they got to Caemlyn in that first book (maybe 250 pages in?) and then I put it aside even though I was thinking that I felt like I was on the road with them myself. It was that good! See, I wasn't reading much back in 1990. My wife of 18 years had just died in 1989. Didn't want much of anything back then except to be with her. Reading wasn't high on my list of things …
