If you haven't read "the Gathering Storm" yet, then this will be a spoiler. I heaven't read TOM yet, so I'm picking up from where TGS left off. Most of his relationships are shot. He's so sickly hardened and cold that he almost killed his own father, and his own lover (the closest of his three, Min) acts different around him. OK. ToM is out and we have about all the clues we're ever going to get, so - WHO ARE THE RED SHIRTS ( of those left ) in this series? I've always thought Bashere was. I've always hoped Faile was. Cadsuane ( despite the sue in her name ) had BLOODY WELL better be. DIE Cadusane, DIE! So who are your candidates for Red Shirt of the Week?

Am I remembering this incorrectly? In the Great Hunt, when Matt was in the White Tower recovering, and Lanfear visited him, wasn't there something different about his dice or his dice cup or both (or something like that) after she visited his room? But he just sort of brushed it off, and it was never adressed again? Didn't his "dark one's own luck" start directly after that point? Is it possible that she swapped his dice and/or dice cup with an Angreal, Ter'angreal, or Sa'angreal that gives him this luck, with hopes that they (the chosen, or just her) could use that to her (or their) advantage later?

Something I thought about today. In the 3300+ years the WT has been around have the Novice and Accepted dresses changed styles at all. Now, obviously they would have had to been replaced at some point but but has the style of the dresses changed to match a modern fashion. We've seen some AS are fashion slaves and in KoD we saw the past styles of dresses AS wore breach "modern" ideas of decency. Just wondering.

Re-reading in preparation for ToM, I've just been through the part where Rand & Co. leave the Stone and head for Rhiudean via Portal Stone. When they arrive, Rand says "I did it!" and Moiraine mutters "Almost." What's up with that? Did someone get left behind that I didn't notice?

hi all! Being the greatest WoT fan on the planet, I must say that I found the beginning of the audiobook ToM rather boring. I didnt get far yet, cause I always fall asleep while listening, but here's what I remember: A pathetic Land part An extremely pathetic Perrin Oi'bama part a pathetic Perrin talks with wolve part an annoying Faile observation a ridiculous (as always) Forsaken part something about Egwene (but I was half asleep already) hopefully I manage to get through these boring sections without falling asleep, and get to the meat - the great stuff soon. cheers!

I've been thinking about getting a tattoo for a long time and I think I will soon. The part of it will be dovien'andi se tovya sagain.
