So, I made a thread on the Non-Spoiler board Declare Your Predictions. So how you going? Myself, I called Graendal living. Admittedly I only fell firmly behind it recently [Tam of Theoryland said I was too cautious, and never fully backed anything, so I did], but I wrote quite extensively on how she might have survived months and months ago, and held it blood and bone against criticism. What do you guys reckon? Can I claim this one? Failures--I was definately wrong about Graendal having a scene before the attack on Natrin's Barrow. And it appears Graendal will go after Nynaeve and Min, not Elayne. How are you guys going?

So this is definitely not a spoiler thread since I'm only on page 28 of ToM, but I still can't figure this out! We know Mat is going to the Tower of Ghenjei, because of the cover of ToM, the inside jacket description, and because of his plans to do so as revealed in tGS. But how does he know the Tower is a portal to the Finns? He saw the Tower in EotW, but Brigitte told PERRIN that the Tower was a portal to the Finns, (or maybe a portal to Tel'aran'rhiod, due to the fact that Perrin saw Slayer escape into the Tower). Is it a portal to both the Unseen World and to the land of the Finns? And how does Mat know this information? Did Perrin tell him at some point that th…

i'm not talking about word count, the more words the better, but why is it so thick, i mean i think it is the 4th longest book but it is HUGE compared to the others. i think lord of chaos is the longest and ToM seems to be twice as big i just dont see the reason to make it so big.

What are the chances of Moirane( excuse if wrong spelling ) being Black Ajah , from the whole series that I read there is not much about her emotions except from New Spring wen she was just out of the tower .

After an angry prologue (I'm upset with you right now Brandon) and a few "awwww" moments I read the scene right before page 200. And read it again. And again. And again. I had tears in my eyes then, and just about teared up thinking about it this morning on the bus. What are your thoughts? Is *that* scene contender for one of the best in the series? Just wondering people's thoughts on the Alanna bond. Will it save Rand? Will she somehow teach the 'girls' better use of the bond then release Rand? Also, what happens if Alanna dies? Would he go warder rage style?

From what I understand, Andoran noble houses pass the title of High Seat to a hereditary heir (High Seat Bob of house "XYZ" dies, his child/grandchild "Jane" becomes high seat of XYZ.") But, Elayne becomes high seat of Trakand (instead of big brother Gawyn, who is the eldest heir). I'm looking specifically at the part right after Tuon says her part of the marriage vow and she is explaining to Mat about her damane (Mylen?) that said she would marry a man who fulfilled 3 requirements: 1. I have ToM on Pre-order from Book Depository online and it will take at least 1.5 Weeks to get to me.. Should i go and buy it from a book store anyway read it and then give the pre-order away? OR Just wait it out... :(
