This came to me from a differnt post. I wonder. Did LT have the voice of the Dragon or what ever it was called before him in his head? Maybe rand will be in the head of the next person to be the dragon and kind of guide him like LT did for RAnd at times. What do you [glow=red,2,300]think?[/glow]

Just finished KoDreams for the 4th time. I am never gonna read thru the series again. I feel like I just ran a marathon. What gets me is Demandred! He is out there. He is exposed. Who the hell is he? We have already been told that M.T. isnt D. I still think kinda. But outside of Taim, who is it? Demandred has been on the board for a while. Lots of people say he has never been introduced, but if you read carefully, he is in play big time. Cant figure it out though.

I love, Wheel of Time, the intricate storylines and mixing of politics, war, and romance. The entire story screams LOTR but adds a huge new dynamic. And yet, I sometimes wonder, why do people not like this storyline. And here it is, one person placed it out as this, a convoluted plot. This makes a bit of sense, but really, looking at RJ's writing style from another view. How could this story not attract all fantasy readers?

So is the DO specifically a "he"? Is that why he could taint saidin and not saidar? Where did the DO come from anyway? And what is it/he/she? :o I assume the Creator is neither he nor she because the Creator created everything and both saidar and saidin...but now that I've thoroughly confused myself, maybe someone else can please shed some light on all this.

After tomorrow night, I won't be spending much time on line so I won't be answering existing posts regularly. I'll still try to check in once in a while, just not like I'm used to. I've got to go back to being a working stiff again because my easy job with free internet is being eliminated. At least I'm still working. A lot of my fellow employees will be unemployed after Friday. Anyway, thanks for many hours of enjoyment. Hope I've sparked some interesting thoughts over the past few months. Guess I'll get back to my fifth re-read. Maybe I'll have it done when AMoL comes out. Anyway, thank you all!

a few questions and theories to episode 31 1 If Verin is going to get the horn for the last battle to give to Mat, then must be like in book 2 when they fight against the seanchan be their the hornblower the flagbearer and the dragon reborn and will it have the same weakness that the battle is linked with the battle with Rand against someone. 2 In book 11 the ogier go to the stump. Loal talks there to not open the book. Now my question to what world will they travel and how could they do it because they can't use the one power. 3 If Rand hears the voice of the the dragon before him. Then did Lews Therin head the voice of the dragon before him. 4 Wh…

In KOD, the Ogier discuss the "Book of Translation". It is not made clear exactly whay this book is. However, Loial's opposition seems to be based on the fact that opening that book would mean the Ogier leaving and abandoning the huans to the shadow. What is this Book of Translation? Are the Ogier dimensional travellers? Will this book take them to a safer place?

I know, I know, many of you have seen this before. But the old board is dying, and someone DID ask to see it. I'm not just being annoying. I'm not. Heh. Revel in the fruits of my most boring of days! MUAHAHA So, some time ago on a particularily boring day, i had a flash of nerdyness and wrote out a summary of how i thought the plot of A Memory of Light would go. Since then i've changed my position on certain things (mostly because of you Robert! You knowledgeable bastard! ) Anyway once again i find myself bored, so im going to go to the bad nerdy place again, and re-write my list. Preceding this i want to say that im working on the understanding that …

Hi, guys something that i never added up was who helped Rand in Shadar Logoth? I think that they used the true power? And Moridin was the only one of the forsaken thta used it willingly and was allowed to use it a one point? If so why did he help Rand when he could have killed him?

This is something that recently occurred to me....It's well established that the Forsaken spend a reasonable amount of time in Tel'aran'rhiod and that Moghedien in particular considers it as her domain. She is known to have the greatest ability to control her environment in Tel'aran'rhiod. She's extremely powerful there...and it's known that the Heroes of the Horn reside there until either being spun out into the pattern again, or being called by the Horn. Why don't the Forsaken (Moghedien in particular) go after the Heroes in Tel'aran'rhiod seeing as they are a threat to the DO at TG? ??? They are clearly vulnerable (Birgette would have died if not bonded by Elayne…

Ok tWoT movie is a stupid idea.. though im ashamed to say this ive read both Eragon and Eldest (they were ok) and when Eragon The Movie came out i though cool it could be good.... Eragon the movie was horrible and made me think less of the whole inheritance trilogy so i hope that people dont try to make a tWoT movie because the only real way to experience it is to read it.

Okay, guys, I’ve been developing this theory ever since Knife of Dreams, and I wanted to see how you guys felt about it. To further my theory, I will use quotes from Min, in regards to her viewings of Rand. "I saw you and another man. I couldn't make out either face, but I knew one was you. You touched, and seemed to merge into one another, and I don't know what it means, Rand, except that one of you dies, and one doesn't." (ACoS, Ch. 33). I had previously assumed that this must be Lews Therin. However, with the revelation in KoD that Moridin is the Third Man in Rand’s head, I’ve begun to think that it refers to him. "Rand, I like Alivia. I do, even if she …

So While i was re reading TFoH I came acroos the part where elayne and Nyaneave get doused with the forkroot. Now i thought that forkroot only effected people who could channel but when they get rescued and leave they douse the shop keeper and her helper with the stuff and they get drugged as well. So can they channel? Or can they maybe be toguht to channel? Your thoughts on this.

The Eye of the World, chapter 49, page 658 It seemed from the Aes Sedai's reaction to Aviendha that they never do this, and it took quite a lot of practice for Aviendha to become proficient at it. It didn't seem that Moriane took that long to get rid of the residue of the light bending weave, but I imagine it's much simpler than a gateway to unweave. Still, did she teach this to herself or did she learn the skill from someone else? Or can we dismiss this as a mistake by RJ before he hammered down exactly how channeling worked?

We know that the One power can't hurt the Heroes of the Horn when the Horn of Valere summons them but can the "True Power"? Would Moridin be able to stop the heroes or would the heroes dominate Tarmon Gaidon?

Over a year ago, I started a 10 part poll series to determine who was the favorite characters in Wheel of Time, the categories ranged from your favorite Asha'man and Aes'Sedai to your favorite Forsaken. Once all 10 polls were completed I fell off the face of the earth due to work and real life constraints. I figure, better late than never, and will finish off the poll series with this finale. Note: Rand and Tam gain entrance because Lan and Mat won multiple polls. I will also allow voters to vote two times (hehe, think I forgot to check that, can I change it now?). To recap the results from the previous polls (you can click on the poll question to go back to …

This probably should have been a Fiddlesticks post, but... I read that being ta'veren comes and goes...it's not necessarily a lifetime thing. In the case of Rand, Perrin, and Mat they didn't appear to be fully functioning ta'veren before they left Emond's Field. At some point after that, their "switch" was turned on and they became ta'veren. Wouldn't it be comical if the switch was shut off and they immediately lost their ta'veren influence? You can choose to either comment on this seriously or to spam it up. I won't mind either way. This thread is mainly for fun but might also spark some cool "what if" conversation. No fighting, please. ;) Here's…

I was just wondering, what is going to happen to Mat in aMoL. Here's what I know... 1) He has to save Moiraine 2) He has to blow the Horn of Valere at the Last Battle 3) He has to deal with the fact that he is Lord of the Ravens (or something like that) and with Tuon Just wondering what everyone else thinks will happen.

Again, already discussed, but i ran accross it in search of the aMoL thread, and thought i would post it. My question is this. Did Ishamael send Aginor and Balthemel, and whether he did or not, did he seek to sabotage their attempt to gain control of the eye? Ok, firstly, we know that he sent Jain Farstrider to the Ogier with a warning. Addtionally it seems likely that it was he that ensured that the Maidens discovered their snippet of information, and ensured one of them survived long enough to speak it; no group of humans would survive three times their number in trollocs in open ground no matter how accomplished they are as fighters. So it seems almost…
