When I was younger, I had a friend that loved to go "antiquining." I was bored to death. Since then, I have had a couple of friends introduce me to thrift stores and then antique stores. I'm not talking about high end stores but stores that are middle of the road that have some great stuff. Last year we bought my son this dresser with nine drawers. It was solid wood, pained black with ivory knobs. $75. WelI, I can go for short jaunts (must sit often for a few minutes due to back issues.) I'm finding it very fun.
