Covid-19 positive, that is.

I'm tired of not being able to breathe, or sleep properly, or lift a feather without being bone tired, and sneezing and coughing my lungs out ... but most of all I'm tired of sitting in the house.

And now that I've had a good pity party, how's everyone else doing?

I'm alright! Its been a nice 3 days off. The past few days that i worked had been brutal in the ER. Of course i had a very young gentleman in his late 20's die and he was my patient. Life of an ER nurse. 

Mother, I'm so sorry you have to go through this. Take good care of yourself. 

 

Cairos, that must be very hard to deal with. *hugs to both of you*

 

I'm doing okay. A little depressed, but nothing I can't deal with.

Work has been hectic. One day, one call at a time. I'm happy it's the weekend. I need a break from the calls.

 

On the plus side, it's definitely autumn here, so enjoying the change in leaf colors. And temps were cooler last night. I like crisp, but where the days warm up too.

Surviving. Mostly keeping my spoons for that "school at home" with the kiddo's. It's been a... learning curve.

That support system is so key for fundamentally everything. I'm so happy you have that available to you! I know I couldn't do anything without ours.
