I'm pretty sure we get Agelmar this season.  Wotseries.com had him pegged during S1 filming.

They have a different lord showing up in Season 1 for casting reasons, but he has a different name (fulfilling the same role, however.)

I thought it was Ingtar that was originally thought to be someone else.  I believe Agelmar was always Chaahning.

Yes. The originial Ingtar got a role in Disney's Willow and left there. His character was renamed as "Lord Yakota" and his scenes had to be tweaked

these castings seem to show that season 1 is mostly book 1.  it seems like season season 2 will he mostly book 2 at this point.  but what do I know?

I’m pretty sure we’re also getting Uno in season 1. Pretty sure you can see his eye patch’s back strap (or whatever it’s called) at the 1:18 mark of the trailer.

I think there’s a good chance season 2 is a mash-up of books 2 and 3.

I think, as many have speculated, that Falme will be replaced by Tear.

 

No sure how I feel about that merger but will try to withhold judgement until I see how they do/don’t pull off the merger (assuming it happens).

 

 

I am so happy with all of these new castings! They fit my head canon 100% spot on, especially Masema and Uno. I think it is really clever to hire these actors with some solid credits to their names as characters actors, to play medium sized roles in WOT. It will give the younger cast more to lean on, and it was one thing that worked out really well for GOT in their casting. 

Based only on that picture, the Masema actor could have been Galad in my head canon. 

 

Again only on the one picture, the Ingtar actor is Mat's cousin ?

Guy Roberts matches my head canon for Uno perfectly. All that's missing is Uno's famous eyepatch. 

So no Forsaken/Chosen have been cast yet? Will they just be CGI manifestations then? Keeping these cards close to their vest, are they?

 

The Uno casting seems like he can swear up a storm. Looking forward to a jibe fest with Uno and Elayne.

As far as I remember, there was somebody cast without a character that people were speculating was Lanfear.
