I think it would've been interesting, to say the least, to have had Tam al'Thor meet up with some of his old comrades from his days as a cog in the machinery of Illian's army. After Rand had become the King of Illian, natch.

I would have loved to see Hurin, Juilin Sandar and Elyas Machera have an adventure together.

Hurin and Julian meeting:

It would have simplified things if Rand had confronted Masema and named him a false prophet.  Maybe Rand executes him for the murders he committed in the Dragon's name but pardons his followers and adds them to his personal army along with the Aiel and Tearans.  

Tuon and Hawkwing for sure, infact Tuon and just about anybody that would make her question her culture more....

 

a slight nuance on the theme but i would have prefered the main characters to have spent more time together once they developed into their roles.....

 

maybe could have explored Mat/Perrin and Rands friendship bond better and let them work together

 

 

 

 

oh...Faile and Shadar Haran would have been great too
