Depends on your personal spatial orientation relative to it.

it's round and has its own field of gravity. i think you'd either fly by, or crash and burn.

But if you maintain a non-revolving orbit, then you can be above the sun according to your own frame of reference simply by being on the dark side of whatever you're on.

by my own frame of reference i could be a lot of things.
