I've never tried to channel, but i have been successful in ingoring extreme cold. The void can be quite calming if you think to use it.

For those who have tried to channel:

reading the poll question gave me quite a laugh, wow, hahaha. it's funny cuz i can identify with it, not because i tried to channel, lol, but i have most definitely tried the heat/cold ignoring trick on more than one occasion. :D

For me, it was the first time in my life that I consciously realized that I had control over any kind of dream was when I channelled to defend myself against King Kong.

This is why I didn't succeed in channeling saidin. I have a block because I know that if I would actually manage to channel a fictional power I would assume I lost my mind and have myself committed.

I've tried to channel I tried to make my teachers head explode it didnt work but I got a nose bleed

Well, that's obviously a risk

I do the rose bud exercise everytime my children threaten to drive me insane. It actually helps me calm down and deal with the situation (eg: my three-year-old son blew up my microwave) and I have the calm face down to a T, but only in public places. :lol:

I always use the flame and the void it works wonders.

uhhh yeah, my mom is one of those really health concious moms, and she found someone who said "Microwaves do blah blah blah" and we don't have a microwave. It's sort of annoying.
