not to be the bearer of bad news but there is the ugliest spider i ever saw crawling on the floor. anybody's pet or is he one of the new accepted?

Man I never want to meet a camel spider

lol, its disgusting!! apparently they cant be squished :shock: they have to be shot instead :P

and new york thinks they have big rats. they really have nothin on those monster spiders. no it looks nothing like that, this one is crawling up your leg and it's a funky shade of purple. it has green globs of goo drippin off some very large fangs and a very hungry look in it's eye. don't move as it may well be the dreaded Gottcha Spider. once he gets you nothing and i mean nothing will get rid of the curse. A fate worse than death. forever to walk the earth cut off from sugar, denied chocolate forever, starving for cakes and pies only able to smell the goey goodness of desert never to taste the smallest morsel nor touch it, not even to see the smallest of cookie crumbs. dear spirits help you

lol and unfortunately that can only be if they are attacking you and you have no other option... if you fire without authorization you better have a good excuse or nasty things will happen to you!

if that thing gets near u that'll be for attacking...not to give u a hug ! So they can fire..., can't they?

well... they are really aggressive, but you are supposed to just run away. They will hiss at you and chase you a little ways... but always best not to have to explain yourself.

Thankfully...it took me years to get over a fear of small spiders!

u have to tell me how caus' i didn't manage to go over yet...LOL

I finally realized how true it is that the spider is more scared of you than you are of it....so, when I see a spider now I won't kill it but I won't freeze from seeing it either. So, I'm not completely over that I guess but good enough, lol!

anyone remember the song I Don't Like Spiders and Snakes? I believe it was written for me, cause crawley things just creep me out. yuck!!!
