I think I am doomed...

Featured Replies

Well, today I got my hands on a HMV student card, which allows me between 10% and 15% off CDs and everything, both in their stores and online. I also managed to get a similar card for Waterstones', the bookstore. I can see where a lot of my money is going to be spent in the coming months...

I think I am doomed, but it'll be worth it!  8)

Yeah...but it is a shame that I am in my last year of study...and I don't remember HMV doing such an offer last year, and I know the Waterstones' card is new this year.

Just like to mention or ask...when will you be eating a hat, they lost to France ;)

Um...once I have found one that I can eat...stupid French...but at least it gives England a slightly better chance of reaching the final...

How much cheaper is that for you then compared to iTunes?

Not too sure, but I am a person who prefers material things and having it in your hand - hence why I buy CDs instead of downloading them from iTunes, and books instead of reading online versions.

books i can understand....music on cds is silly when you can just download it. its cheeper and easier. you will learn my lovely :P

and i can and might possibly steal those cards unless you study more! MWHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! *is evil*

You will never get hold of those cards!

oh corki has an ipod....but somehow thinks its better to buy cds, load them onto itunes then onto his eye pod instead of just downloading them. silly person :P

and i already have stolen your cards once :P

But I still have my trusty CD player...and what will I do if somehow my iPod goes wrong?

Send it away so they can fix it?  ;)

I have no problem watching the cards for you Tay and Northie while you are watching them for Corki!  ;D

corki thats why people have extenal harddrives with itunes backed up on it containing all the lovely music! :P

*is waiting for her movies bought with corkis cards to arrive*

*hums as she waits*

Are you talking about Robin Hood and Sword in the Stone Northie?  Those are my two favorite Disney cartoons ever!!!

  • Author

It does happen to be those two in a box set...

I thought she had mentioned that somewhere....now I'm gonna have to go get them!  LOL

I have them both too...Sword I have on DVD, but Robin Hood I have on VHS.  But a boxed set would be nice....someone can add that to their list.  :D

*hears people gasp at eh mention of VHS*   :P

*laughs* not at all sis, I still have most of mine on video... slowly replacing them with DVDs but its taking ages.  ::) Robin Hood is excellent but I prefer 101 Dalmatians or Beauty and the Beast :P

*Accepts brew and takes a seat*

I'm not bad thanks mist. Thought i'd stole by and see what's happening around here. Hows about yourself?
