I dunno... the monkey that rides around in the trunk of the Mach 5 int he old speed racer cartoons? *shrugs* we were laughing at supper over the word... uh, no offense... porchmonkey and someone accidentally said trunkmonkey instead

porch monkey is a nicer way of saying... uhh... the n word, but still insulting

I wanna ask, but curiosity killed the cat...

a freind of mine was talking about his views on the english people that dont talk in what he considers english, i.e. dialect.

 

he went on to say where he lives there are a lot of private schools and then felt the need to push home his point with;

 

'bloody scodgers walking around my town'

 

never heard the word scodgers before

 

i think it sounds amusing ^^

and is "Bob's your uncle" really a saying over there meaning 'that's right' basically? O_o

 

but been meaning to ask for her... one of my friends wants to know if most British people have the stereotypical bad teeth ::) she asked if you had them at first XD

its just a slur, but i think he used in it connotation, which alters the meaning on individual context :P

most of us aren't sophisticated.

stereotypical views of the south is rednecks or sitting on front porches drinking iced sweet tea... not necessarily true, but it's close... we do love our swet tea!

there probably are stereotypes for americans, but you know me, im horribly uninformed of such things :P
