An MMO probably won't happen.  But personally, I feel that the heavy character based nature of WoT is better served with a single player experience.  Can you imagine seeing a group of Aes Sedai camping in the Blight for a Trolloc spawn, waiting for a rare loot drop?

Thanks, RAW, I went ahead and ordered it along with a couple of books I've been looking for (found them used and in purportedly good condition for pennies plus shipping  :)). I hope I don't have to go over to my mom's house and drag my old Windows 98 box out of her closet to fully enjoy the game. You...um...CAN play it by yourself, right? i mean, since no one's probably doing it multi-payer online anymore... :-\

Yup.

I got the game to work on Windows XP, you just have to fiddle with the screen size options when the game starts, it uses the 1st unreal engine (I think) but it will run on XP.
