New Game: Name That Artist!!!!

Featured Replies

Ok here go folks an new game. The rules are simple: I'll start it off by posting the name of a song. The next person to post guesses the artist and then names another song to be guessed at. In the case of remakes of a song please state whether or not you want the original artist. So let's kick it off!

"Never Too Late"

umm no one knows who originally sang "Whiskey in the Jar", 'cause its a folk song

If you meant the rock version, its Thin Lizzy. If its the proper folk version its a case of name any Irish band and it's probably been recorded by them....

"Starlight"

Newsboys, though Tom Waite did one called "starving in the Belly of a Whale"

Strange Deja Vu

Actually Kast it was "The Burning Sensations"

Seals & Crofts

Total Eclipse of the Heart (ORIGINAL)

Steppenwolf! That was one of the first records I remember having.

Try this one on, boys and girls... I dare you to find it without iTunes or Google or one of those things.

Madman Running Through The Fields

This is a WAG ........ King Crimson! ;D    (i won't enter a new song cause i'm sure that is wrong as Shatner singing MacArthur Park)

Just bringing this back up from the dead...

And I am not completely sure on the group that sang Break It Up, but it is either Cypress Hill or the Horses.

But we'll start again...so who sang:

Heaven's A Lie

Aphex Twin (I think)
