Has that been confirmed by RJ Maj? Only I dont see why the medalion would protect dreams when it doesnt protect against saidin (mat, asmo & avi died when Rahvin attacked them with Saidin)

The medallion does protect against saidin. But it works only against direct weaves of the power, while Mat was killed by an indirect effect of a weave. Example: you couldn't hit Mat with a club made of air, but you could use air to pick up a rock and hit him with that.

But now that you mention that - What protects MAT from those Ishy Dreams that the boys used to have???  I seem to have forgotten.

as for perrin, if he did join the dark side and have his soul consumed, would he become like a human darkhound? I think mats the one who was gonna turn if anything. All it would take is the dark one with a coin... "heads, your soul is mine...."

If the Dark One said to Mat "Flip a coin. Head I get your soul, and everyone elses; tails i will climb back into the Bore and not come out until Rand can kick my arse." it would come up tails, as it is random, and thats how Mats luck works

Unfortunatly, I doubt the DO trusts luck, and thus would cheat.

what about the saying "the Dark Ones own luck." UId like to see the DO and Mat in a dice game, see who has more luck
