Here is a question that i hope you folks can help answer: If a tree falls over in the woods, and no body is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

Yes the tree will make a sound.

If a fat lady stumbled in the middle of the woods, would the trees still laugh?

War is one of those unnecessary evils. But it affects the whole planet.

We should care, whether war effects us or not, as for a tree falling in the woods, this happens in nature all the time, why should we care about whether it make a sound.

Maybe you should leave a recorder in the middle of the woods for a couple of years and find out.  ;D

But the recorder would pick up the sounds eaves it makes as it falls and then some human will listen to it and their ears will take those sound waves and donvert them to sound....so that would still be heard, even indirectly

It's close enough since no one was around at the moment it fell.

And it would get on better without us too...

Gotta love nature...except if you are Simon, he probably hasnt even noticed it.

 

Talking of which they did a survey on kids and found a lot didn't know what a potatoe looked like ::)

It does make a sound. I was there to carry the tree back to the stedding to pacth the poor thing up.

At least there is someone out there looking after the poor trees...
