Um, just a few friendly pointers mate!? You need to change your last paragraph and make it to where your are taken to the Mistress of Trainees's office. She (Eqwina) enters your name into the Book of Trainees and then escorts you around the Yards.

 

Second pointer is that until you meet the MoT, no Trainee will stop you. We could however RP taking you to her office. ;) I am sure Jehaine or I could do that with you.

You may meet up with the Mistress of Trainees, your roommate(s) and/or your mentor but it is not required.

 

That's a quote from the website, idk if it's been changed since that was put on there, but that's why I RP'd it that way. Could I just say that the MoT showed me around and not actually involve her in the thread? Cuz I don't want to volunteer her for a thread that she didn't sign up for.

Actually, that's part of the MoT's job -- be present in Intro threads. She's the one that'll sign you up for the Warders.

 

As for the rule... It's a slightly different wording. You need to eventually show up at her office, though actually meeting her isn't required in your post. For example, you could end your post with knocking on her door, and she'd take it from there.

no you dont have to never had to actualy RP the part out, its quite posible as you pointed out by the req's wording and always has been to npc your way out of it

 

its just very usual that most by now actualy do involve the MoT in their rp, instead of writing around it, however with my latest trainee i did choose to write around it, and focused the rp post count part on meeting someone who showed me to the yard instead.

unless Eqwina changed the reqs in which case i seen no anouncement but then again i am known to be blind, and at any rate she and corwin need to get around to then changing the write up of the req so there cant be any further missunderstandings ;)
