I only know of Prichett

Pratchett didn't become a prolific and honoured writer by doing nothing.

Maybe that's why I've seen Pritchett has been on the Daily Show and not Pratchett...

Then aren't the french supposed to bathe. I know they eat stinky cheese.

I stayed with a family in Paris for a week, once - not a single one of them bathed or showered in the whole week I was there. I had to go to the local supermarket to buy cleaning products and disinfect the shower (first i had to remove all the crap they stored in it, and the bath) before i could shower.  Nice, middle-class family, btw. One of our guides during that stay never changed his socks during that week.

I travelled(walking, buses and trains) around france for afew weeks when I finished school it was awesome

Paris was beautiful. We also went to Lille. I liked Austria best, though - it was -14 in Salzburg - the first time I ever saw snow  :D

I was in Lille also, and Amiens

I would love to go to the countryside - all cities look the same, after a while. (Though the Louvre was awesome).
