How did Rand blunder so badly?

Despite the faint possibility of Taim NOT being a DF, I would say that there is little doubt there is. The guys laughing after that comment just seems to convey that they are laughing at the AS etc... Obviously the Asha'man there understood what Taim said and seemed to be laughing at the AS. This heavily suggets that they are all DFs.

I can provide no further evidence though.

Furthermore, LTT telling Rand to kill MT is NOT a sign that MT is a DF. LTT says that whenever he meets an Asha'man. I have come to assume that he does it because he believes that they will be corrupted by the taint since he screams for imminent murder whenever a saidin channeler is in front of Rand. So that alone does not convict Taim, cos we know of good Asha'man.

OF course, there is a catch. Does it seem possible that such a high-ranking order from the DO delivered directly to the Forsaken would be known to such a large number of darkfriend Asha'man? Does this mean that darkfriend Asha'man have significant importance in the hierarchy of the Dark?
