so i saw this shirt at walmart today

 

 

and i wanted to buy it but then Az suggested getting one with a different text.  but they didn't have any so i thought i'd make my own.

so next week i'll be going to a local custom tshirts store and having it made for like 40$

 

now..do i want a regular tshirt or a girl's tshirt?

Very nice, though the only thing I'd look into is somehow wrapping the text to go over the green paint, as it looks like the green paint was set up to go behind text, and looks a bit sparse on its own.

 

And having googled a girls t-shirt to see what exactly you were referring to, I'd say definitely go with one of those.

yeah, Zyr said the same thing about the text.  i'll try moving it over.  sadly the text is the largest size of font available.  i don't know if i have to buy the tshirt in store of if i can bring one in.  didn't look like they had any girl's shirts.  most of the shirts there were for the male heavy metal type crowd

Maybe take the first one's text, and just shift it up, so the "Why" is in the green, the "so" is level with the eye, and "Serious" is right below the eye.

 

yeah, i'm going to try that next.  with the second one i learned how to use photoshop's layers and such.  and the magic wand tool is the bomb.

 

any ideas on how to increase the size of the text?  it's at font size 72 atm.

If you are using Photoshop you should be able to highlight the size number and just type whatever size you want in. I'm not sure what version you are using though, or if it makes a difference.

Take some gambles, if its too big, try a different number, rince and repeat. You'll get a feel for it after a bit.

well, once i get it right i'll try putting it up on cafepress.  but it might get nailed by the 'no recognizeable commercial images'.  i'll let you guys know how much it costs me to have a tshirt made in my town.  and find out how much shipping is to norway.

i was thinking of that but the original didn't have any punctuation aside from a 's.  i think a ? would detract from the helter skeltered writing.
