That quote tells us nothing, because it comes from the point of view of a third party. You have to look at Moiraine's point of view passages to find the evidence that she isn't a darkfriend ;)

Has anyone concidered the idea that Cadsune could be a darkfriend? It was certainly hinted at in New Spring. I'm not remembering anything in particular that exempts her.

 

Also that would explain what she's going to teach Rand and the Ashaman that they won't like learning. Betrayal.

It's been brought up a number of times, but there is simply not a single thing pointing against her. Including NS, there were absolutely no hints, other than Moiraine speculating, and Moiraine suspected basically every single Aes Sedai at that time, compare it when the wonder girls gets the mission to hunt darkfriends in the White Tower by Siuan, only Moiraine had even more reason to suspect they were coming for her, if the BA had learned her and Siuans role in searching for the Dragon Reborn.

 

Cadsuane is most likely not a darkfriend. I'd say she's probably one of the characters Rand can trust the most.

Well I think the POV she has in PoD is enough proof. Throughout the entire chapter she never referred the DO as the Great Lord.

 

Also regarding the other point of my theory,Elayne. Currently we know that she's still in Andor and has no plans to leave for Arad Doman. So how do you think Rand is going to find out about her pregnancy. Perhaps through Aviendha?
