I just don't it happening that way. The numbers on the Shadow's side seem far too low. Granted, it'd cause chaos ... but win the war? Dunno.

 

It seems a little odd for the Shadow to see what Rand et al are doing, in terms of vastly expanding the number of channelers, and for them to just sit there going, "Well, we have people on the inside, so we'll win."

 

Given that it's TG we're talking about ... just seems that Shadow is playing with a self-imposed handicap if they haven't at least tried to do something major to redress the balance.
