he's been online for 19 days in the whole year. That's hardly something spectacular for a message board. Ergo, you need no intonations of the voice to give it away, it should be self-evident.

 

Besides, I do believe that days of calling someone a nerd for using message boards have passed a good number of years ago. Ergo, read the ending of the previous paragraph again.

it really is the same thing, just replace:

 

he's been online for 19 days in the whole year

with

He's been a member for 1 year.

 

and

 

no need to change anything in the 2nd paragraph.
