Our test had a lot of maths if I remember correctly. For example, if a car drives at 80 km/h and the stopping distance is 10 metres, how far will it be if the car drives at 60 km/h?

Gerr, I get a full month off for Christmas break this year.

In England; provisional at 17. You can drive in a car with an adult who has 3 years experience in driving with it. Generally people take lessons, around 20 or so. This works out at about £400-500. Then you have 3 tests. Hazard Perception, Theory of 55 questions and then your practical. Don't need a certain amount of hours clocked, you just need to not suck. 1 Major error and you fail your test. Think it's 16 minor errors like indicating too late etc and you fail.

I had to do two tests for the learners permit as well. They were both out of twenty and you could get a max of 4 wrong per test. One was signs and the other was road skills. Then I had to do drivers education and two more road tests before I was done!
