I have a question about rules for trainees, are we allowed to carry weapons, such as swords, when not using them in practice. If so, is there a certain way to acquire them.

As far as I know you can carry a weapon around if you want to. And the Warder Armories are stocked full of weapons that you can use. There's a weapons selection class if you want to RP it out, or you can just say that your character has gotten a weapon.
