Faile as a Forsaken

I'm at work and they haven't figure out they need to give me a continuous stream of work to do to keep me entertained. So, I'm bored and my mind starts wandering.  Sometimes it doesn't come back until I find a new mock-theory.

Come on - you can't tell me you haven't thought of it.

Oh i've thought of it, but the thought was so terrifying that I put it out of my mind and resolved never to go there again.

I'm actually one of the minority that likes Faile. I dont particularly like what she's done to our old Perrin, but I like her and her voracity. She's got guts, and she's a challenge.

I agree though, she aint no Forsaken.

I don't see what she did to Perrin as a bad thing, at all. I think it makes him a bit more noble seeming. He also went from wishing he wasn't a lord to playing at being a high lord/king, the way he made that deal with the Seanchan and actually destroyed the Shaido Aiel. He even got a good truce agreement out of the Seanchan that only the Shaido wise ones would be collared. He never would have taking such a large responsibility without her. Even in Lord of Chaos he didn't do anything like it.

that's true. She is the epitome of "Behind every good man is an ambitious woman".  Or something like that.  She has been the main driving force in Perrin's becoming a main force in Randland.  But, all the big moves he has made has been to save Faile (the Shaido) or to protect her (fighting the Trollocs so she can get away).
