Look, people ... I'm not calling RJ an idiot for doing it this way.  It was necessary to tell the story.  I'm willing to suspend my disbelief. 

 

But it isn't realistic.  I'm OK with that.  I don't have to pretend that "Nuh-uh, it could happen" to be OK with it.

 

Exactly, I find the one language to be the most illogical part of RJ's Universe. Taking into account that its a fantasy series and a type of magic must be employed the rules surrounding the one power are reasonable. As are most aspects of WOT. The language however, is the most difficult for me to accept. I do suspend disbelief for the sake of the series but having an entire world with one language even though major parts have been isoltated for thousands of years is farfetched.
