Yeah i know it's no coincidence, i was being sarcastic =P
You failed.

Irony is a disparity of expression and intention. When someone says one thing but means another, or when a literal meaning is contrary to its intended effect. An example of this is sarcasm. When i said wow what a coincidence, i meant the opposite. Like i said before, i was being sarcastic. So in what way did i fail? Just because you fail to see what i mean, does not mean i failed.

It would have been a fail if no one understood that you were being sarcastic, but since I at least understood the joke I guess it isn't a failure. However some people never understand these jokes so they are looked upon as dumb or a-holes because they sometimes say I didn't understand it just to be idiots.

Just my two cents.

It was. Irony is a disparity of expression and intention. This was absent.
