That sucks big time :D

I'm not too bothered now, my hubby has a copy. But I'm too busy rereading WoT that I haven't read any of my other books for a while.

Can't remember last time I read the WOT

I lost track of how many times I've read it since 1992.

I've got lots of books I haven't read :D

I just don't think Jackson could have put the whole book in, and Tom Bombadil, was great but he could and was easily left out without ruining the plot.

True, but Tom was still my favorite character!

We was a good character, I agree!

I shall have to reread those soon.

I enjoy reading them and have to get them out every now and then. lol

 

But I have my WoT reread to do now...

I still haven't forgien LOTR for dropping Tom Bombadil...he was my favorite part of the books!

Yes, even though I know why they couldn't have him in there, and I respect that, I was gravely disappointed not to meet Tom Bombadil in movie form.  Although, maybe, since we love him so much, it was a blessing they didn't attempt to make him as wonderful as he is in the books.  Some things you just can't do justice to, and they didn't even have to try with Tom.  Which I'd consider a good thing. :D

 

And I've been thinking of doing a LOTR reread myself.  Since I finished a reread of WoT a month or so ago, so I don't need to force another one. :D

I need to get on with my WoT reread, I'm still on TDR.

If I was seriously considering trying a reread, I'd be on Chapter 1 of EotW. ;D  So, no go.

 

I'll just stick with the Hitchhikers books.

If I don't stop watching Boston Legal, I'll never get through my reread. :D

I guess you'll have to organize your priorities, then. :D

I don't know why I suddenly feel like watching four straight seasons of BL. :P

I have so many other things I have to do too. that there isn't time for me to do a full rearead before the book comes out.

Likewise. :D  I have to get caught up on schoolwork, and I have to continue with schoolwork, and I have to start looking for some source of income...

Yeah well...had to give up my re-read due to grad classes  :P

 

Oh Tom Bombadil hearken now and hear us, come Tom Bombadil for our need is near us!!  ;D

I'm getting there with my reread.
