Americans don't have a great reputation over here. Most are seen as loud, rude and obnoxious. ::)

yeah, a lot of us are, but that is what makes us so great. I have met some canadians that are total tools. I have met lazy black people who don't work. On the flip side, I have met mexicans that work harder than anyone I have ever met, and black people who can work my arse into the ground. Should that be the stereotype? no, but it is, and it won't be changes anytime soon from what I can see. For me, I say be who you wan't to be, and if someone doesnt like you for it, well, too bad for them

America is a contrasting land that tends to get viewed by the most public face, as far as I can tell.

Thus the reason that america gets lots of flak is due to events such as Bush getting elected twice
